Breakfast was adequate and rooms were clean despite a less than stellar sea view. I had a situation where someone had unlocked my door with their key card at 5 in the morning and attempted to enter but was not able to do so because my door was latched. I was unimpressed when the service staff’s explanation was that there was a reset in the security system at that time and the person who attempted to open my door was probably a drunk guest. I had expected far superior service from a family-run guesthouse instead of just a flippant explanation.

The best in Aktau is the best! The waiter is very enthusiastic, Davarish, I will come again

The facilities are a bit old, but the environment and hygiene are OK. The service is average, and Top Bar even made a mistake in remembering the bill

Make no mistake - this isn't 5* hotel. We usually use Holiday Inn for quick sleepovers as it is comfy enough and we know what we are getting into. Something like McD of hotels of sorts? The room was ok size, the bed was comfy and here the good things end. The sound insulation just wasn't there at all? We could hear the cars on the street. We could hear the radios of the cars on the street. Loudly. There was a disco either directly in the hotel or somewhere nearby. We could not only hear it but FEEL it. As we have booked the hotel for sleepover before early morning flight so we can get some good rest before long journey - this hotel completely FAILED. We couldn't sleep at all. It was so loud that i could hear the disco through my noice cancelling headphones. To add to our extreme disappointment we have asked the hotel staff if they can reschedule the breakfast for us for the day of arrival (early flight in, early flight out). I don't know why but this was unsolvable problem. How hard is it to move us from one day to another? We didn't want extra breakfast for free or anything like that - just to enjoy it on the day of arrival. As alternative we were offered "lunch box" containing sad looking apple, bottle of water, disgusting sandwich from day before, yogurt and quite tasty but small brownie. I guess they just wanted to get rid of stuff people didn't finish the previous day. So really 1* experience. Far from any other Holiday Inn I've ever been to. Oh and i almost forgot - amenities were prepared for one person only so we had to rectify with the reception.

Good hotel at the central avenue of the town. A bit further away from the sea shore. The sea in a distance could be seen only from upper floors. All main business centres and shops of the town are within walking distance. The hotel is relatively new. Overall good facilities, small gym is available. Upper floor bar is not working and seems is open only on special occasions. Rooms are good, standard ones, nothing super-special. There was a small step between the room and the bathroom, which was rather unusual for this type of a hotel and inconvenient. Other than that good four star hotel at central avenue of the town.

Arrived early in the morning after a night flight I found myself in the smoking room with a terrible smell, although I booked non-smoking, manager on duty was not able or just didn’t want to change the room, saying it would be possible to do only at 12 o’clock next day. Spend another twenty minutes waiting for pillow cases, all pillows were without it, despite of the fact the room should have been prepared at 14:00 and I arrived 15 hours later, but paid a full price for the day. I haven’t heard not a word of apology form staff. I have visited a few Holiday Inn hotels around the world and before I thought it is a decent hotel chain, but this case changed my mind, it was the worst Holiday Inn experience ever.

I stay in this hotel whenever I am in Aktau. Thanks for hotel staff for upgraded room for free. Nice Front Desk staff and Excellent Housekeeping. Kettle in the Room which is convenient to drink tea or coffee. Unfortunately, I didn’t try meal in this hotel. Quiet hotel.

The hotel is located in the city center, near a shopping center and many cafes and restaurants. The Embankment and local landmark Rock Trail are a 10-minute walk away. We held a large conference for 200 people. The hall is very beautiful, the air conditioning works. There is a stage. The downside is that it doesn't have its own LED screen. We ordered coffee breaks (price from 1,700 to 3,500 per person), lunch (price 5,000 tenge) and gala dinner (about 20,000 tenge per person). All participants were happy. We also stayed in this hotel. The executive room was fresh and spacious. There was everything you needed - slippers, bathrobes, soap washer, coffee, tea, kettle, safe. An ironing board and iron are provided upon request. The breakfasts are delicious (eggs, porridge, pastries, vegetables, seasonal fruits, coffee, tea). The manager Botagoz was very helpful - she delved into the relevant requests and responded very quickly.
