The hot springs were great! I especially enjoyed the open-air bath at Aoumi-no-Yu, which had a variety of different baths.
The view from the room was also spectacular.
The staff were also very friendly.
I arrived early, but they didn't make me wait long and I was able to relax in my room.

This hotel has a great location. We were able to see both the sunrise and the sunset. Naturally, the bath also had a great view. It's an old-fashioned term, but the waitresses (mostly young people) were friendly and had a great time. By coincidence, the tub in the bath seemed to have malfunctioned, and when we tried to get in, the hotel staff apologized profusely, saying "It's nothing, it's not working properly so you can't use it," which made us feel embarrassed. I stayed here for one night on my way to Kyushu. The food was delicious, especially the pufferfish tempura nigiri sushi and the conger eel and octopus shabu-shabu soup. The promenade on the coast was also nice. I was able to take pictures of the sunset from the lobby of the inn.

The staff were all very nice and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the sake tasting in the lobby, the snacks sold at the shop, coffee, tea, and ice cream after the bath. However, the only disappointment was that the corridor leading to the bath and the elevator were not air-conditioned, so it was very muggy. Going to and from the bath was very uncomfortable. Even though it was a great hot spring, I didn't want to go in there many times because of that. The same goes for the rooms, but the air conditioner only worked inside the rooms. The corridors and bathrooms were very muggy, so we had to open the doors to let the cool air in. Maybe we visited at a bad time, but we probably won't be returning... We recommend avoiding the hot season.
