Not a 5-star hotel – 3 stars at best. Avoid. I don’t usually write reviews, but after the disgraceful service and even worse response to my complaint (which ignored clear photographic evidence), I felt I had to. This hotel is nothing like what’s advertised. Hygiene is poor — flies on the buffet food, broken toilets, and hot food that’s cold. Drinks are mostly served in paper cups, and on the rare occasion you get a proper glass, mine was cracked. The all-inclusive offering is misleading. Just one cocktail option and a very limited drinks menu. Service across the hotel is slow and uninterested, especially at reception. Many sun loungers are broken, and unless you arrive early, good luck finding one at all. The à la carte beach restaurant was the worst experience of all — our drinks didn’t arrive until after we’d eaten, and the service was completely inattentive. When I complained, they simply denied everything. No accountability, no apology. This is not a five-star experience. It’s mis-sold, under-delivers, and shows zero care for guests. Strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I was extremely worried coming here after I read the reviews. There were some really bad ones of late. Firstly I’d like to state that it’s important for people to understand that a lot of the staff here are working 16-18 hr shifts in the heat, they are not rude, they are probably underpaid and tired. Be nice! We have had a great experience with every single staff member we have encountered on our stay, they are amazing people. The hotel may not be a luxury 5* hotel but it blew me away. There is once huge pool, and even through I didn’t come In peak season, there’s defo enough sun loungers. You then have the beach shuttle which runs every 20mins from morning to night. And takes you to the beach which also has another pool area also with plenty of lingers. I’m not sure what people are moaning about? I’ve been to luxury 5* hotels in UAE, paying so much money and was not looked after the way I was here. There’s sooooooo much food, eat your heart away. Only think in the hotel rooms are out dated with the decor, a bit 1980s but it’s clean and when you’re paying £450 all inc what is a bit of antique? One warning though, if you’re here for silence, you won’t get that. The room blocks surround the evening entertainment and it’s very loud, bring ear plugs. Honestly, this place has surpassed my expectations, I’m defo coming back, I’ve had a rough 2 years and this place has made me so happy again

I Think this hotel deserve more stars.service is very good people are kind and hardware.clean and nice air.Foods are amazing we had many foods we tried most of them,Lovely place.alcohol very very good we drink all day all night.Entertainment very good the best especially (Spider) was on top he was on fire thanks for Ramada we will be back.

We had a lovely stay at Ramada Akbuk by Wyndham in Didim. The food in the main restaurant was very good, with plenty of variety, and the staff were always helpful and friendly. I wouldn’t recommend the A La Carte though, as the main restaurant actually offered better food. The entertainment was excellent, with a different show every evening and plenty of fun activities led by the entertainment team by the pool during the day. The pool at the hotel is large with slides, and there’s also a second pool with slides down by the beach. Just note that the beach isn’t right next to the hotel—you need to take a shuttle (our mistake for not checking properly). Overall, a very good hotel with great service, facilities, and entertainment.

Brilliant hotel. Can't fault it one bit. Staff excellent especially the animation team.. simba is a very good member of the team and enjoyed laughing at me losing at darts every day. Speedy is brilliant especially with my son who has slight learning difficulties. The drinks are great, ice cold and refreshing just what you need in the August heat. The food is nice if a bit repetitive sometimes but always something different to choose from and always came away full. Highly recommend to anybody, read lots of negativity about this hotel before we came and can understand why some people might not like it due to the real mass of international visitors but for us this is great. No real rowdy British folk spoiling it like they can do at mainly British resorts. Would happily visit again with my family. ❤️
