We stayed at Yu Kiroro for one week and it was the best vacation my family could have asked for! You definitely need a car if you will be staying here and there’s plenty of parking for guests outside and near the hotel across the street. The entrance is very welcoming and we felt at home right away. When you check in, each guest receives a complementary parfait and one access to private onsen. The hotel was very clean and very quiet. The kitchen is well-equipped with dish-washer, oven, microwave, and a massive fridge so we simply bought groceries when we felt like staying in at a local supermarket (I recommend TRIAL). The bathrooms were also very nice with room and floor heating so your feet won’t get cold in the morning. The sheets were crisp and clean and the massive window in each room had an amazing view and sunlight on a good day. The restaurant within the hotel was very affordable yet served high quality food with great view of nature. They also offer family friendly activities such as horse riding, morning walks, and outdoor bbq. Overall, it was a great experience to escape from the city to relax and go to onsen every night before it closes at 12 am. They are also very reasonable with room keeping and respectful with our privacy and time as we stayed in a lot. This place is a must try, and we will definitely go back especially in winter! Ask for Alan when you need help and their team will definitely make your stay a memorable one!

Great experience. It is summertime so it took a 20-minute drive to visit near cities but it will be an advantage in winter for ski.

Hotel is beautiful, but more like services apartment. Room towels change after 3 days. If ask for a fresh one need to charge. Service is good but everything need extra charge. 2 bottles of water provide on the first day, after that water need to charge. Not like a hotels have water provide everyday and fresh towels as well. Ski in and out not possible in this moment, due to ski lift is closed.

Perfect location with perfect view from the room including all facilities inside our room. Highly recommended for family travelling.

The shortage of staff make it not 5 stars hotel

Very comfortable stay. The hotel is very new and is close to the cable car where you can slide in and out. The hotel's Ski Valet is so convenient. It can also dry shoes. Highly recommended! The only problem is that there are not many and expensive restaurants nearby. It is recommended to buy something to eat at the airport.

The room is spacious, the facilities are first-class, and it is comfortable and sanitary. The hotel is located in a remote area and needs to be driven in and out. There is almost nothing around the hotel, so you can only eat in the hotel restaurant, but the taste is good.

The ski slope is next to the room, which is very convenient. There is also a small kitchen in the room, so you can make some simple meals. It is very suitable for family travel. Recommended.

Good accommodation, beautiful room, has indoor and outdoor onsen, breakfast is a set of Japanese food, and the hotel is near the mountain center skiing point, there is a hotel shuttle bus. There are no shops or restaurants around the hotel. You must eat in the hotel. Or make it yourself in the guest room kitchen. Or you can walk to eat at the club med restaurant nearby. And the hotel has a bus to walk to Otaru but must be reserved 1 day in advance.

Breakfast was not very good, hard to eat. But it’s very good to pay for the evening at your own expense and the price is reasonable! It is not ideal to provide bath towels and hot spring bath towels once every two days. After the hot spring bath, you have to take the wet bath towels back to the room for the next day, which is unreasonable!

The hotel is very close to the ski resort. There is a shuttle bus, which is very convenient. The takeaway food in the restaurant is delicious, and the price of a single glass of cocktails is about NT$300-400, which is quite cheap. I will consider staying next time I go there

Not cost-effective, the price is 34,000 for two nights. There is no meal. It gets dark at 4 o'clock near the key point. There is nothing to eat at 4:30. I can only eat from the hotel. I walked around and couldn't find anything to eat at 5 o'clock. The heating in the room couldn't be turned off, and it kept spraying very hot skin, causing a nosebleed! It was only after I checked out that I discovered there was a driver's cab. There are many Thai people staying in the hot springs, and they all have tattoos. When they come, we leave.
