We decided to discover Aix les Bains during a long Pentacôte weekend. As we had never been there before we relied on the internet to find a suitable hotel. We were absolutely delighted that we chose the Hotel des Bains. The couple running the hotel were very charming and gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. We loved our well equipped impeccably clean room. It had high ceilings , a very large double comfortable bed , well appointed bathroom and most important was extremely quiet. The buffet breakfast was also very varied and served in a very nice dining room with enormous windows. The hotel is perfectly situated in the center of town next to a beautiful park. The bus stop for taking the bus to the lake side is just across the road from the hotel and the train station is a mere 10 minutes walk away. We would have no hesitation to recommend this hotel.

Très bonne situation. Accueil chaleureux. Personnel compétent. Ca fleure bon les années 70 env., mais tout est propre, bien entretenu! Le restaurant attenant vous sert de délicieux petits plats faits maison à des prix plus que raisonnables.

Un hôtel charmant, mais dans son jus. On se croirais dans un roman de Agatha Christie. Par contre un accueil très chaleureux, dommage que les locaux soient si vieillot. Notons cependant la très bonne qualité de la literie et des serviettes. Parlons du petit déjeuner , qui est loin de la description faite! On est quand même très loin du "copieux et variés ". Tous est industriel, du jus, café. confitures en passant pas la vienoiserie. Dommage, car il suffirait de pas grand chose, pour y être vraiment bien.

Depuis peu l'Hôtel des Bains a ouvert son restaurant aux non curistes. Grâce à leur menu affiché sur le trottoir pour un prix raisonnable nous avons décidé de nous y restaurer. Entrée, plat, dessert pour 22 euros. Repas très goûteux et bien présenté, nous nous sommes régalés avec en plat principal un émincé de magret de canard et sa sauce ainsi qu'une purée de patates douces. Très bon accueil, convivial. Nous recommandons vivement;

Hôtel très bien situé,.Le personnel est très sympathique, et chaleureux, très bon accueil, Buffet petit-déjeuner varié avec des produits frais. Chambre bien équipée et rénovée. En résumé de très bonnes prestations. Un parking (payant) est situé à 200 m de l’hôtel

Accueil charmant, personnel familial et sympathique.Le petit dejeuner est tres diversifie avec dz bons produits et a volonte.La cuisine elaboree par Mme Dabo est excellente, savoureuse, gouteuse er tres variee. Chambre tres propre, la literie est de tres bonne qualite. L'Hotel est tres bien situe, pas tres loin du cebtre ville et aussi a proximite des bus. Je recommande volontiers cet etablissement.

J'y suis allée en avril 2022 pour faire un repérage pour ma cure de 2023. Un monsieur très désagréable m'accueille et je lui explique très ^précisément que je voudrais voir la chambre (et si la douche était de plein pied car j'ai du mal à grimper )si possible et aussi savoir si on a accès à la machine à laver car on reste quand même 3 semaines. Il me dit non vous ne pouvez pas voir une chambre et puis fini par me dire d'un ton bougon bon montez voir . Et pour la machine à laver il me réponds : une seule fois vous avez le droit de vous en servir . Alors je lui dit mais pour 3 semaines on ne peut laver ses affaires qu'une seule fois ? La réponse est Oui de toute façon pour laver un sleep vous n'avez pas besoin de plus.... Je suis partie choquée de la grossièreté surtout que je lui ai parlé très simplement et aimablement . je déconseille. J'imagine qu'en maison de redressement ce doit être assez similaire comme accueil .
