Thus is our fault for having under researched so I am sure if you know what to expect you will have a better experience. Husband booked this, I failed to check on it. He booked for the pool (nice when not too crowded) and location close to Aix-en-Provence. He assumed it was a few cabins and the pool - he also thought there was a bbq provision with the little cabin. Lesson here is don’t let husband book these things. This review is not against the site necessarily but as a heads up to anyone uninitiated like us. The cabins are sweet but tiny with very little in the way of equipment. If you want to self cater, you have two gas rings, a few saucepans and a microwave. There are no tea towels so you will need to bring your own or do what we did and use kitchen roll. Also no hand towel or hand soap provided so again bring your own, and if like me you need a second towel for hair washes, each person staying is only provided with one medium sized towel. The double bedroom is minute - there is about a foot of space around the bed, and the bed is very uncomfortable. Although there is air conditioning mentioned, it it’s only in the main living area - if you want to try and benefit from it then you will need to keep the doors to the bedroom open overnight, but even then in the recent August heat I averaged about 3 hours sleep a night. The bunk room has marginally more space for activities such as getting dressed and moving around. The loo is small enough to prevent the swinging if of a shrew… We also had the added joy of ants all over the cabin - the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen - they were everywhere. Speaking of overlooked, the photos on the website don’t do justice to the setup - if you prefer your coffee and croissant in peace, this is not the place for you. Please also note that if you don’t book a clean at the point of booking, you are expected to clean with minimal (and also cheap and ineffective) cleaning aids. The mop bucket collapsed twice whilst trying to wring out the mop! I’m sure that for those who know what to expect from such a place - and who come fully prepared- this place is great. For those of you who are not avid campers/ used to minuscule cabins with basic facilities and added wildlife, I would suggest you avoid this option - even if the pool looks nice and it’s close to the town!

Really nice site , you wouldn't recognise it from the photos as they are in the process still if renovating it and I think when it is finished it will be lovely. Reception and all sanitary facilities are all new and being kept spotlessly clean. There will be a restaurant with lovely views once it's finished. Pool area great and clean. We were initially offered a pitch but it was too steep for our vehicle but they moved us with no issues. Reception very friendly and spoke excellent English. We cycled into Aix which is a lovely clean city and very close. Fabulous old town , lots of restaurants and boutiques. We would definitely return to the campsite and city . Well done team Huttopia

4 Stars? Really? The sanitaries seemed to be renovated a couple of years ago, but were badly maintained since than. Many toilettes and bath rooms are out of order, taps broken, and everthing is not very clean. Sink for chemical toilettes not working. No water points on the place or broken. The pitches and the whole camp site gives a neglected impression. The staff is very friendly, though.

Very good camping, big spaces, several spots with amaising views. Warm shower/ toilet area. Thank you Yannik for showing us the area. We did not see rabbits but they say there are a lot in the area. With new owner they plan to change a lot this year and invest in new infrastructure. It would be nice to come back this summer.

Beware the most expensive camp site we have used in France or Italy. No bar or restaurant was open which is fine considering it’s mid October but 36 euros at this time of year is very high for a pitch ,2 people with electricity. Not many sanitary blocks for the amount of pitches.

Very poor service. Arrived at the site to have a member of staff point towards a barrier. Stopped my car where he directed me only to have him come out and shout at me as I was blocking the exit to the site. The following evening having had a pleasant evening in Marseille I returned to the site bar. On approaching a table that was unoccupied apart from a half empty glass I was again accosted by the same member of staff who informed me that the table I was sitting at was only for staff. Very disappointing. I could deal with all of this if the site was quality!!

The worst campsite I have ever stayed on. The rubbish was overflowing. Its a very long way out of Aix and the bus stop is a long walk from the site. Most of the electric points were damaged as were most of the water points. The site is very sloping and steep and the service roads are all broken up, when it rained some parts were inaccessible due to flooding. The place is running alive with wild rabbits. The shower block next to the pool was out of order as the drains were blocked.

Ruhe findet man hier definitiv keine. Der recht hohe Preis berücksichtigt keinesfalls die laufenden Bauarbeiten. Positiv zu erwähnen sind die guten Sanitäranlagen.
