Gorgeous rooms, welcoming and helpful staff, great quiet location yet close to everything you'd want to see and visit. The staff gave great suggestions on things to do. The bed was super comfortable and it was gret to have tea, a coffee maker, and speciality candies in the room

We spent a blissful five nights at Maison de Collectionneur. Silvio and his entire team are so kind and made us feel very welcome, from his first text and email, even before we arrived. The guesthouse is very quiet and luxurious, and is in a perfect location to explore Aix-En-Provence on foot. It is located on a quiet, controlled access street in the Mazarin district, and each day, it felt like we were returning to a lovely private home. There are wonderful patisserie shops, a gourmet cheese shop, and several wine merchants within a few blocks of the guesthouse. It is also an easy walk to Coeur Mirabeau, the rotunda, TI, and the Place Richelme. The only negative was the claw foot tube in our room, so if that is a concern, try one of the other rooms. We had two wonderful meals at Chez Charlotte, an adorable restaurant not too far from the guesthouse. We will return to Aix, and we will definitely stay at Maison de Collectionneur on our next visit!

I stayed at Maison du Collectionneur for 2 nights in October 2023. My room on the second floor was large and bright and although facing the street, very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom also large and well appointed (with great water pressure). The breakfast (at a reasonable additional price) was also lovely. The location is excellent -- close to the loveliest areas of Aix, but not among hordes of tourists. But the more I travel, the more I realize that what makes a hotel great is the staff. The managers, Emma and Silvio, could not have been more welcoming, warm and helpful. This is a lovely small hotel, but Emma and Silvio made my visit one to remember. Especially because of them, I would be delighted to stay here again

Our stay was exceptional! Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated, with a claw foot tub and a lovely shuttered balcony that allowed fresh air and the sounds of church bells on the hour!

I loved this hotel. For one thing, it's in Aix-en-Provence, which can be quite hot, and they have good air conditioning in the rooms, which is crucial. My room was furnished with great originality and had everything I needed, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed breakfast in the garden each morning. And my room was very clean.

Warm and welcoming inn located in a beautiful section in Aix. No more than 15 minutes walk to anywhere you want to go! Beautifully decorated room with such thoughtful offers such as free handmade herbal teas and pieces of locally made Calissons d’Aix for you to try. Staff always available and super helpful with restaurant recommendations. They even made reservations for us before we left the U.S.! Highly recommended.

This hotel is small and intimate. Located conveniently in the historic old city. It has a lovely garden where you can have a drink, relax or eat a picnic. The rooms were exactly as pictured. They were fresh, clean and decorated in a modern attractive artistic way. There is no elevator so all luggage needs to be carried. But what stands out most is the caring and thoughtful employees who are always trying to be helpful either by recommending a restaurant or patiently giving directions.

We had the best stay at Maison du Collectionneur and highly recommend the hotel. The location is superb, tucked away on a quiet street that’s a short 3 minute walk to the heart of Aix. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The hosts and staff were so kind and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed and providing recommendations. The breakfast was delicious. We loved our stay and definitely plan to come back!

Great location & lovely building 5 mins walk from Cours Mirabeau, 10/15 mins walk from train & bus stations. Friendly, helpful staff. Large, clean, quiet comfortable room with great interior design. Delicious breakfast served on secluded sunny terrace. Bars and restaurants closeby.
