Good value for money
Great value for money & ideal for a trip to liverpool for the football & a night out. Friendly welcome at reception & plenty places to eat nearby. Would definitely stay again

I found the staff very helpful and the hotel clean and tidy. I was there on business and I had to leave at 7.00 am to get to my meetings. This was the only problem, really, because the hotel does not have a restaurant and the Toby Carvery next door does not open until 8.00 am. I would suggest to ths hotel that they put in a little fridge in each room. That way an early morning traveller could bring milk and have a cereal breakfast at least.
For anyone going to the hotel, it is also worth taking a small extension lead with you. There are very few sockets so this would be helpful for charging your phone, working on your computer etc. All in all, it is a nice, little place but an extra double socket and a small fridge in each room would make it better still.

Nice and clean but pricey
I thought the hotel room was nice and clean and comfortable but I thought it was pricey for just the bed as no breakfast included. The only nearby food was a Toby Carvery or a KFC.

Not for the single female traveller
IMPORTANT- As a single female traveller I did not feel safe and secure in this hotel, there are no security locks or codes on the door through from reception to the rest of the hotel therefore anyone could enter from the (very public outdoor space.) The rooms to the doors are opened with a key and cannot be double locked on the inside, there is a chain on the door on the inside but anyone could push that through. Because of these issues I didn’t sleep.
Very tired/dated decor and security.
Certainly not worth the £100 I paid for the night.
Staff were very friendly but I only spoke to 2 of them very briefly on the arrival and departure.

Place is very tired and in a poor state of repair. Overall cleanliness poor, stained carpets, bedside tables damages.
Mattress made a noise with every movement and headboard was damaged.

Clean and staff very friendly stayed here for grand national. Very basic hotel and very expensive due to the race day

After requesting a downstairs room were allocated up stairs. Corrected quickly. There is no food provision in the hotel but a wonderful Toby Carvery next door.
