You have to be really careful with your choice of where to sleep, it can ruin the entire experience. In this "hotel" you will not sleep and have many unpleasant surprises on the way. At the end they even had the courage and decided to charge for "cleaning", which is a joke as the room was not clean at first, both showers were completely clogged, impossible to take a shower! I understand the summer season and the heatwave but this is no excuse for what it was: boiling hot with hot floors, hot walls, hot beds, hot pillows, hot towels etc, the house probably have a heating problem because it was not something normal as outside was fresh and nice and even with the windows wide open the whole night it was impossible to sleep both nights. Maybe our room was up a heating system or an oven or something I don't know. No human should ever have to sleep in that condition. Never bring children there, it's not a place for a family. They didn't respect my breakfast choices, and brought and charged whatever they wanted. The same for other "taxes". Too much, charged even for kids, that no other place in Europe did. So be careful. Looks good in pictures but it's not even close to reality. And last but not least .. The guy in charge is very rude, never present, and doesn't want to do a single thing, be very careful.

Exorbitant price for a more than mediocre service, partially renovated at low cost, bathroom in poor condition, shower cubicle, borderline dangerous, with a riser at the exit, towel, damp, paper rolls, toilet, started, electric shutter that does not stop in the middle, bedside table, broken, mirror, room. For the price 170 € for two you have to add 18 € for breakfast. Plus 12.20 € for coffee. According to the owners Amine and Sophie, The bathroom is perfect🤣🤣. It must be a Brussels opinion, because in the Var we must not have the same values.

We spent 18 hours in this hotel without seeing any staff. Upon arrival in the room, there is no heating, no blanket or duvet. In the entrance and on the staircase no light, no switch... After contacting the "Emergency" number the owner assures us that it is not a problem and that although she does not live not on Aiguines, the necessary will be done, we will never see her. It's the night watchman, a service provider who does his rounds, who will come and turn on the heating four hours later. It's this same night guard who orders us to go to our rooms at 9:20 p.m. because he has to turn off the lights while we calmly play cards in the dedicated common area, and the aggressive way he uses to express, the tone rises and an altercation ensues. He ended up ordering us to leave the Hotel, threatening to call the police... Of course we didn't leave the Hotel... Apart from the annoyance caused by all these events, we spent one night very quiet, this is the only positive point of this establishment which is more like room rental than a hotel.

We stayed one night with family at the hotel. We were warmly welcomed, the rooms are nice and clean. The view of the lake is magnificent. For the site and the reception, at the top. The breakfast simple, but plentiful. Parking is easy near the hotel.

The amount of the rooms was taken from the master card twice and after repeated messages (and a promise of refund) there is no response. They only respond to reviews, but no response to email and certainly no refund action. Stay in July.

Un vrai coup de cœur pour le Gabrielle Hôtel à Aiguines ! Les repas du soir sont raffinés et savoureux, un vrai plaisir chaque soir. La chambre est décorée avec goût, cosy et d’une propreté irréprochable. L’accueil est chaleureux et attentionné, et l’emplacement est parfait pour profiter du calme et de la beauté du Verdon. Je recommande les yeux fermés !

Un jeune couple agréable et à l'écoute Petit hôtel calme et propre avec vue sur le lac. Facilité pour se garer.Petite terrasse extérieure pour l'apéritif et proche du village . A 10 mn du lac pour les activités nautiques . Je le recommande vivement
