A nice hide-away surrounded by greenery. The place has a fresh look, and the garden is a surprise: cedar hedges, bright Bird-of-Paradise flowers and even a fruiting banana tree, with the mountains in the background. It’s a great first impression. Our 2-room apartment was spacious and included a complete kitchen and a spacious living room. Unfortunately, we were only here for 1 night and only got to use the bedroom. The bathroom was spotless and the shower pressure was excellent. Staff were friendly and check-in took two minutes. Breakfast is a simple continental spread but the local honey and the yogurt were delicious. Bottom line: A nice, peaceful base for the rack railway or a Peloponnese road trip. I’d gladly stay again. However, Hellenic Train was on strike, so no rack railway for us...

Very pleasant place to stay. We had a pleasant stop one night Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed because we arrived too late but it seems quite hot! Warm welcoming and a very good breakfast Thank's to the owner

it’s a family run hotel, and the family is very nice and welcoming. nice pool, the apartement is nice and if you come as a family it’s very conveniant as the bedroom is saparated . very close to the sea , nice restaurants and a short promanade and you can walk to take the train to kalavrita (highly recomended)

We stayed in Diakopto mainly to access the railway up to Kalavryta and do the hike back down. The hotel was a terrific base to do that, as it's around a 10 min walk to the train station. The room was large and spacious, with a small kitchenette, massive balcony/terrace, good shower and comfortable bed. There is also plenty of parking on the street outside, which made it very convenient. It's a short walk to restaurants and there are quite a few different dining options. The team were super helpful, friendly and welcoming. There is a small pool, although it closes between 15.00 and 17.00 - maybe for cleaning? We weren't sure why this was and we went to some of the gorgeous local beaches instead.

Το Hotel Alkistis αποτελεί εξαιρετική επιλογή. Πρόκειται για οικογενειακή μονάδα, με ιδιοκτήτες φιλόξενους και ευγενέστατους. Ιδιαίτερα η κ. Μαρία είναι πάντα πρόθυμη να βοηθήσει, να καλύψει τα αιτήματα των πελατών και να παρέχει στους επισκέπτες την καλύτερη δυνατή εξυπηρέτηση. Ο περιβάλλον χώρος, όπου ξεχωρίζει η πισίνα, είναι περιποιημένος με καλή αισθητική. Τα δωμάτια ευρύχωρα, καθαρά και λειτουργικά, με άνετα κρεβάτια, διαθέτουν κουζίνα, ψυγείο και τζάκι. Το προσωπικό και οι κυρίες της καθαριότητας πάντα χαμογελαστές και ευγενικές. Η θάλασσα, εστιατόρια και Καφέ σε κοντινή απόσταση. Το ξενοδοχείο είναι ιδανικό για οικογένειες αλλά και για καθένα που αναζητά ένα ήσυχο μέρος για να απολαύσει τις διακοπές του. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Ευρύχωρα δωμάτια με όλες τις ανέσεις ( 2 a/c ,ψυγειο,πληρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα,tv,σίτες,βεράντα ),υπέροχη πισίνα μέχρι 1,90 βάθος ξεχωριστή για μικρά παιδιά,ευγενεστατοι οικοδεσπότες! Το μόνο ψεγαδι ηταν το wifi που λόγω δικτύου ήταν πολύ αργό. Με 2 παιδιά και το σκυλάκι μας περάσαμε εξαιρετικά !

Nous avons réservé 1 appartement pour 3 personnes de 47m2. La chambre est très grande, il y a un canapè dans le salon séjour, une belle terrasse, mobilier moderne, cuisne avec frigo, gazinière, cafètière. Parking privé,maus possibilité de se garer dans la rue. Pas loin du port et de la gare. Piscine extérieure pas testée car pluie. Logement propre, free wifi, 70€ la nuit. Il y a un bon bar au port et un restaurant face la gare, ainsi qu'un supermarché.

Zeer mooi appartement, goed ingericht met een mooi terras! We verbleven hier met 4 personen. Er is een aparte gratis parking waar je met een gerust hart je auto kan achterlaten. Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk, geen moeite te veel. En een mooi zwembad.

Wir verbrachten zwei Nächte im Alkistis und waren zufrieden. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, das servierte Frühstück auf der kleinen Terrasse war ausgezeichnet. Wir erhielten ein Zweizimmer-Appartement und haben ausgezeichnet geschlafen. Dies auch dank einer idealen Klimaanlage, welche im Schlafzimmer sehr leise war. Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, parkieren konnte man ausserhalb des Hotels entlang der Strasse, was nicht immer ganz einfach war (viele Autos). Wir haben die Bahn nach Kalavrita genutzt (Vorreservierung im Internet möglich), eine interessante Bahn durch das landschaftlich schöne Tal. Und Kalavrita ist aufgrund seiner geschichtlichen Bedeutung (2. Weltkrieg) sicher einen Abstecher wert.
