Hotel the Lotus Park

Hi, unable to stay because we had no marriage certificate and the last name on our Passport didn’t match. But they still take my money. The part I don’t understand two men can stay in the same room no matching ID needed. Thanks

Was doubtful after reading some reviews online, but it is a good place with comfortable stay. Somewhat neat and quiet place. Staff is friendly and nice. Morning breakfast is ok. Entry is on the main road. Good looking building.

The services needs lot of improvement in terms of housekeeping and room services. Every hotel has 24 hrs room service and this is my 1st hotel which I have ever experienced that there is no room service in the night. The housekeeping never cleaned our room and we had to sleep in dirty room.

Don’t know the reason behind the high ratings but haven’t come across a hotel that is more unprofessional or callous about customer privacy, safety and experience. Though the deluxe room specifies a size, the room allotted was hardly enough to move around and the bathroom is beyond imaginable with no fittings or designated place for taking a shower. If they don’t think an extra bed can fit, they should stop accepting bookings for three adults, or specify the matchbox size clearly with photos of the washroom and room in all angles. Moreover, the staff had the audacity to enter the room and take our luggage out on their own when we were delayed by checkout just by 10 min and were on our way back from a hospital visit, without as much as a courtesy call. The breakfast is nothing short of a joke with just two items, rotten fruit. The only thing consistent about the experience being terrible service, dust all around and a terribly ill maintained property, be it restaurant, room, bathrooms, linen or other common areas. Would give it a negative rating if there was an option.

Good hotel

I stayed in the hotel from 2nd Jan to 2nd Feb for a month and I'm utterly disappointed with the service. First of all the rooms and washrooms have no similarity. The first room I was in the washroom was so small that I hurt myself turning in the shower, so had to change rooms. Secondly they did not take the effort of cleaning the room everyday, you have to tell them, rather request them to clean it... The daily complimentary water again you have to ask for it, and when I said that you haven't sent the water for the day I was asked from the reception that did I ask for it... And since we were two people sharing a double bed room we asked for an extra blanket which was outright refused and again had to literally have a fight for a spare one... Thirdly I'm traveling from another city and I have my food preferences so I ordered my food accordingly. The only thing I used to ask for is plates and crockeries. But that too was denied to me after a while since I don't order from their kitchen. Had to create a ruccus to get plates simply. If I order something sometimes as snacks or something they would be like please pay immediately and not add with my room bill... One good thing was the tea or coffee supply but then again the pots were so not clean that I had to send them back a few times... And the best thing about the hotel was their laundry service, but then again in my last service they ruined a proper tee shirt which I got to know only when I went to wear later... Oh and before I forget the hotel lends its banquet hall for all types of events irrespective of whether they have guests and whether they will be uncomfortable or disturbed... I literally went up to the reception at 1:30 am one night complaining about the noise as I had difficulty sleeping... And they don't even tell the event parties to stay quiet and maintain decorum as they shout and talk loudly ***** the corridors and outside... It was very difficult on such days to relax and rest after coming back from work the entire day... Overall I'd not recommended anyone to stay in the hotel.
