Really enjoyed my stay at fort bazaar. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Due to the rainy weather down south I changed my plans to go to Tangalle and stay a couple of extra days at Fort Bazaar and enjoyed the spa and walking around Galle.
I was a solo traveler and felt safe and comfortable there.
Definitely somewhere I would consider to stay again

This hotel is located inside Galle Fort, and its biggest advantage is its location! I stayed in room 5, which is close to their offices and has poor soundproofing! I highly recommend avoiding it! The decor is simple, IKEA-esque, and doesn't reflect its historical heritage! The toothbrushes are hard! The pool water is murky! The breakfast server was a slightly overweight guy with a belly and no smile! 75 out of 100! Aside from the location, there's nothing else that stands out!

Five-star price, average B&B facilities. Breakfast is okay, but dinner is unpalatable, expensive and unpalatable. A hamburger costs 5,000 rupees, which is not very cost-effective. Beautiful hotel in a great location. Staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and courteous. A special call out for Sanjeewa Gamage who made our stay perfect. He was charming and so helpful. Galle a great place to visit and walk around. Many good restaurants including Church Street Social in Fort Bazaar hotel.

This was one of our favourite places to stay in Sri Lanka for our family of five (including three teenagers). The service was amazing in every part of the hotel. The restaurant food is absolutely delicious - breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff were incredibly helpful and engaging. The pool area is wonderful. The complimentary morning walking tour is well worthwhile and was one of our highlights of our entire trip. Would highly recommend if you are interested in the history and architecture of the area. We could have stayed here for weeks!

We had a wonderful stay at Fort Bazaar. Part of the Teardrop hotels group, we had already stayed at Goatfell earlier this trip. Fort Bazaar was equally as spectacular. Beautiful rooms with a very comfortable bed. We made use of the spa and had very good massages. The hotel has several different areas to relax and soak up the atmosphere- at the front of the hotel for the Galle vibe or in the courtyard for peace. The swimming pool brought some relief to the humid climate. The staff were friendly, very helpful and attentive. All in all a great hotel to stay in at Galle.

What a delightful little boutique hotel situated in galle. From the moment you walk in passed the bar and restaurant and the cool lounge which are all open to the public you see the sign residence only and once through this doorway you find reception and a really awesome courtyard. Being a small hotel (18 rooms only) the service is personal the staff are fantastic and the rooms are clean and cool (bordering on cold) . The swimming pool is awesome the pool towels are lush and the food was some of the best I've had in sri lanka also the executive chef coming in the restaurant and chatting with customers was also nice. Definitely worth a visit just wished we had scheduled more time there.
