Although one of the highest hotels in Aguas Caliente Mistico is well worth the hike. The price was reasonable and the rooms were very nice. We stayed two nights. Our room had a view of the river, the sound of which made for a soothing sleeping. The best aspect of the Mistico was Alejandra who was friendly, thoughtful, incredibly accommodating and works tirelessly. She answered all our questions, got up at 5:30 to let us out to take our train to Machu Picchu and also let us wait for our departing train at the Mistico after we checked out. We very much recommend the Mistico and especially Alejandra

The service is excellent, they helped us more than they should since a family member got sick and they called the doctor, I also needed a nail clipper and they very kindly lent it to me. Besides that, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Basic breakfast, but enough since you are about to climb Machu Picchu. Highly recommended!

The hostel is very comfortable, although in the description of the amenities it said that it had a hairdryer and it didn't. The rest all good. Experiência confusa. O quarto era frio e o chuveiro não era muito bom, mas nosso maior problema foi no check out. A recepcionista não nos deu orientações sobre o check out (e precisávamos sair para Machu Picchu às 05 AM).
