Hotel Luz Garden was great! The staff treated us like family and were very nice! They came by each night to see what time we wanted breakfast and even let us stay in our room a little later so we didn't have to set around town waiting for or train. I will definitely stay here again.

Excellent value for money at this basic but very accomodating hotel. Very friendly staff and the location is right on the river so we enjoyed a great view from our room. Breakfast was very good. It’s an older building so don’t expect luxury but if you want comfort, location and price- this is a good option. Bathroom was not amazing but fine for us.

LO BUENO: El hotel está muy bien ubicado, la atención muy buena, el dueño Franklin sumamente servicial.. Te buscan en la estación del tren. La limpieza impecable. El desayuno es bueno. LO MALO: las toallas de mano las tuvimos q pedir siempre, ya q nos las ponen, el mayor problema es que se escucha demasiado los ruidos del hotel, las puertas de las habitaciones tienen un vidrio arriba por lo q cdo se enciende la luz del pasillo cuando alguien pasa, ilumina permanentemente y no deja descansar, las ventanas de los baños dan los pasillos y se escuchan claramente cdo alguien se baña ya q están muy cercanas unas de otras. No hay un cesto de basura en la habitación para tirar papeles, botellas plásticas etc. El WiFi es inestable.

Hot water problems

We were very welcome and welcomed. The hotel is about 5 min walking from the train station. Easy access. The girl at the reception has served us with great sympathy and attention! He was early up for us to prepare a coffee.. simple but tasty! The room is simple.. But it's the necessary for the stay. Heat water shower and super comfortable bed. Quiet for a good night sleep. Far from the street muvuca. It was very kind of her to keep our bags while we went up to Machu Pichu. I recommend!

I can't express enough how exceptional our stay at casa andina matchu pitchu. what really set our stay apart was the staff. Their attention to detail is beyond commendable. Upon checking in Adolfo asked my partner if we celebrating special occasion, and it happened we celebrated our anniversary last month. Without expectation, before the end of our trip Adolfo (front desk) and Ms. Andrea surprised as with the unique local dolls and with a big cardboard stating “Happy Anniversary” it blown our mind, we are very happy to the unexpected gift and greetings from them. special shoutout goes to Adolfo of front desk.
