A notch above. Condo interior desperately needs an uplift from the 1980s, but the security, seclusion and amenities Villa Montańa provides for such a small neighborhood is next tier. I would have liked more explanation about the room orientation to the water (ie walk time, view from front door, etc.), but nothing Google maps didn't help resolve. Very pet friendly. Not a place to go if you avoid dogs as many guests have their furry friends present. Only downside was overhearing pretentious guests with wildly selfish demands and disrespecting staff. Otherwise, a two minute walk to the beach with a drink in hand. Thanks Orlando at guest servoces for the donuts too!

Upon arriving at the hotel I was told they DID NOT have a room for us and that ******* allowed the reservation to happen in error. Please refund this expense asap as the hotel did not honor the reservation.

The location and private beach were incredible. The small villa was quaint but with minimal luxuries. Kitchenette equipped but bring essentials. Overall a very pleasant experience.

At check-in, asked to extend an additional night. Was told there was no availability. Went to our room, connected to wifi and booked the additional night through *******. Was not made aware the large pool was closed for maintenance for our entire stay. There was an additional pool at the restaurant. Food and drink took FOREVER. Even just ordering a soda from the bar. The restaurant was never super busy or crowded, everything just took a long time. Only about 8 chairs for the whole beach and with a sold out resort for multiple weddings, that amount of chairs seemed crazy. Our 1 bedroom villa was comfortable, super dated like a '90s 60 and over retirement community in Florida. Found 2 cockroaches in the room, gross but we were surrounded by the outdoors and left the doors open at times for the breeze. Front desk was accommodating with our late checkouts. Wedding venue was nice, dinner and bartender took FOREVER.

The beach is spectacular; we snorkeled in a sheltered area. The restaurant, Eclipse, is great and the views are tremendous. The pool is big and we enjoyed swimming under the stars after dinner. The bucket with champagne on arrival was a nice touch. I appreciated the style and construction of the wood furniture in the bedroom. We would have appreciated daily housekeeping or every other day room refresh.

We had the most amazing time at Villa Montana! The beach was gorgeous and restaurant had amazing food and really great drinks. We only saw the main pool which was very nice and right off the bar at the restaurant. Everyone we interacted with was super kind and helpful, so props to the amazing staff. We ended up staying in one of the villas which was really nice, very clean and larger than we expected. We rented a car to drive to the resort from the airport in San Juan and it was an easy drive (depending on time of day / week might be some traffic but it was a beautiful drive and took about two hours). Plenty of parking throughout the resort.
