B&B A Robba de Pupi

The hosts were so kind and accommodating. They suggested an amazing restaurant for a specific craving we had. The property is peaceful and quiet which is great for a relaxing swim in the infinity pool with an incredible view. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The landscaping and flower planters were meticulously kept and gorgeous. Very comfortable bed and a spacious accommodation and overall. We had a rental car which we think is best for staying here since Valley of the Temples and Turkish Stairs are each approximately 15 minutes drive. Would stay here again!

I really don’t have the words to tell you how perfect this place is, it’s absolutely idyllic. The hosts, brother and sister Guiseppe and Francesca have created the highest quality destination, and they oversee every detail of every moment of the day to ensure nothing gets overlooked. There are rules written on walls everywhere and it may seem a little too much for some, but it ensures an idyllic, and peaceful haven, the perfect escape. You are under no illusion that high quality is provided and high quality behaviour is expected in return. The furnishings are high quality, plentiful and traditional, lots of dark wood with vibrant coloured walls and soft furnishings. The pool area has several seating options, a beautiful outdoor kitchen, a sparkling bathroom and pool side shower. Breakfast is vast, with so many options to include local cheese, meats and yoghurt. The property is in the hills, so beware there are no bars, shops or restaurants within walking distance, nor are there options to buy snacks or drinks in the hotel, so you do need to bring with you want you want for your stay - there’s an ample sized fridge in the bedroom - otherwise you’ll be thirsty! We plan to come back here again.

You are close to everything you want to see but you feel a world away from the heat, the traffic, the dust and the confusion of Agrigento the minute you arrive at this lovely country retreat. The view is beautiful over a lovely, unpopulated valley and hills, all the way to the sea. Francesca and Giuseppe are absolutely lovely (I see from other reviews we aren't the first to adore them). Breakfast is delicious, with everything you might want, but don't miss Francesca's incredible marmalades and cakes. The pool is sheer perfection. The beds were the best of our whole trip. I just wish we had had more time to enjoy it all. By the way, I think if Francesca ran the world it would be a fairer, kinder, more equitable place. The woman is right on.
