A mixed bag. The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was good. We had a small balcony overlooking the main street which we liked, though be warned that it gets very noisy out there on Saturday nights! It's no longer a 'family' environment (they live elsewhere) and there is little interface with the host - although we arrived during the stated check-in slot and had even emailed our ETA in Agrigento there was no-one to let us in. When we did finally see the owner she had little time for our queries. There is no longer any breakfast provided, though this was unclear at the time we booked.

Stayed one night, good location in center of old town. Clean room, water pressure a bit low, bed a little hard to our liking but fine for an overnight. Walking distance to train station, restaurants. Local bus to valley of temples. No included breakfast but easy breakfast in nearby pastry shops. Owner buzzed us in remotely when we arrived.

Camere a Sud was a 20 minute uphill walk from the train station. Taking a short taxi ride may be advisable for some. We were fortunate that we saw Elvira at check in time as she was leaving for the day and did not return until we were leaving the next day. The room was artistically decorated and offered a home-like ambiance. Although the shower was small, the bathroom was very clean. She did communicate to us that our driver would be late in picking us up for our next destination.

Very cute and cozy B&B. Every detail of the place is well thought. The location is great, even though parking is a bit far away. Breakfast was not provided, but the owner was super kind and offered us cake.

A written exchange prior to our arrival was insipid and answered next to the question (ZTL zone). No reception. I had to ring the bell 4 times before finally getting an answer and being able to get in despite being within the scheduled arrival time slot. A non-existent host until the next evening, and unfriendly. And to think that this address is recommended by the Backpacker! They must not have gone there for a long time...

Ho trascorso 3 giorni al B&B di Elvira con la mia famiglia,abbiamo occupato 3 camere,una piu carina dell altra (bagni compresi)dove la pulizia e la semplicità insieme a tanti dettagli ricercati fanno da padrone,questi, rendono l atmosfera del b&b veramente magica,uno dei quei posti a mio parere che si fatica ad andare via. Il B&b si trova all interno di una piazzetta molto caretteristica, nel cuore di Agrigento,ad un passo dalla Via Atenea e da tutto quello di bello che c'è da vedere in centro. Ci rivedremo sicuramente e grazie per la vostra gentilezza,attenzione e disponibilità. Complimenti da tutti Noi! Daniela.

Siamo rimasti stupiti 2 volte ad Agrigento: 1 per la bellezza mozzafiato della Valle ke dei Templi e 1 per la struttura dove abbiamo alloggiato Il B&B è in pieno centro, in una piazzetta interna tranquilla ed è meraviglioso!!!! La bellezza della camera, curata nei minimi dettagli, e la cortesia di Elvira hanno reso il soggiorno perfetto Da consigliare
