Barbara is a wonderful host and met us outside to show us an easy place to park behind the accommodation. She gave us lots of information on where to visit and provided us with milk to make tea. The room was very modern with a very comfy bed, modern bathroom, fab aircon and a lovely balcony where we had distant views of the Valley of the Temples (see photo). Breakfast was fabulous. We sat out on the covered balcony and enjoyed all the lovely food provided. We had some dietary requirements which Barbara happily accommodated. There was a large selection of beautiful pastries, fresh fruit, bread and cheeses as well as lovely cakes and the most amazing chocolate covered orange that Barbara and her Mum make! Barbara also provided a couple of local Sicilian things for us to try which was really nice to have authentic Sicilian specialities. There are quite a few good restaurants nearby and an amazing Gelato and bakery just a few hundred metres away.

My wife and I stayed at this B&B for one night and truly enjoyed it. The room was super nice and designed as pictured and the AC was working very well, which proved to be critical as outside temperatures varied between 35C and 40C. Barbara was a great host who responded to our queries swiftly and helped us in so many ways to make our stay so memorable. The facility is very secure, including a parking spot in a gated area that Barbara allowed us to use instead of parking on the street at night. She helped us reserve our dinner at Sal8, a highly praised restaurant and then served us with a very nice Italian style breakfast the next morning. Highly recommended.

The room is at the top of a high apartment block, but lifts are available and the views are amazing - out to sea and also over the temple ruins. The room itself was incredibly modern, high quality and beautifully furnished. The host, Barbara, could not be nicer or more helpful. Just be warned that the breakfast is exceptional and, in our opinion, far too generous.

Truly wonderful B&B! The place is stylish and very comfortable. Barbara, the host/owner, is incredibly welcoming and gracious and helpful. The view from our home looked over the entire valley of the temples. The room itself was great. Comfortable. The bathroom, and especially the shower, was amazing. The balcony view of the valley was special. All quite perfect. Stay at the place if you can!! And the breakfast was as good as we have ever had at a B&B with a huge variety of local food from savory to sweet. All freshly prepared.

The rooms are absolutely beautiful , modern and very well appointed. The view from our balcony was stunning! We could see the whole valley of the temples and the ocean as a backdrop. Plenty of parking outside. Breakfast was great. Very close to the historic center and a few minutes drive to the temples. Barbara is lovely and a very attentive host. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend a stay here.

This hotel has an amazing view of the city overlooking the valley of temples to the sea. The owner was very attentive and it was clear she went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and enjoy our stay. It is always a good sign when the B&B owner clearly cares and wants to make sure everything is perfect. The room was up to date - nice new bathroom, wifi, etc… Breakfast was excellent and well prepared. The B&B is close to the main street so dinner was an easy walk. I would highly recommend Hedoné.

Disappointed expectations compared to description and reviews. Poor breakfast, especially regarding quality. Half of the amount was withheld upon booking (05/03, despite the flexible rate providing that this could happen starting from 04/06), while upon arrival we were asked to pay IN CASH, because we did not have a pos. No tax receipt and no document relating to the payment of the tourist tax was provided. We pointed out this shortcoming to the owner, who we had never seen in person, when she contacted us to dispute a review on bed-and-breakfast.it, but she told us that it was normal because the association has to process the tax document. After 10 days, we still haven't seen anything. The location of the property is good and the lady who received us was kind and helpful.
