Beautiful hotel and rooms over-hanging Lake Orta. The view is incomparable. The breakfast buffet was huge and clearly catered to the different nationalities staying there. I’d like to say I didn’t have the peanut butter nor drip coffee on principle, but I definitely did and they were delicious. We did the half board and the four course meals were fantastic. Lots of hiking trails nearby

1 We ordered 2 rooms for 2 nights . After a while we saw a possibility of upgrading the rooms. We did it but the hotel said we orderd twice. We tried to explain our situation and there was no attention for our mistake so they charged us more 400€ They where very arrogant When you order room there take this into account.

Another lovely stay at this family run hotel. I am not sure how many times we have stayed now but it does not disappoint. Don't come here if you like large chain run hotels, as this is a family run hotel with rooms overlooking beautiful Lake Orta - in which you can swim from the hotel or use the newly refurbished swimming pool. A lovely restaurant overlooking the lake with excellent food and service. A great roof top bar and friendly and helpful staff.

Wonderful hotel and experience. It is a small hotel but perfect for a short getaway. On a daily base they share the temperature of the lake and the pool but both were really nice and warm. The room were exactly what we expected, we got the standard room. This one was big enough for 2 person. Also the bathroom was suprisingly big which I liked a lot. Normally it is rather small but this one was good. Just 2 small remarks, since we didn't had a balcony, we weren't able to dry our towels/bikini properly. And if you go in the summer, make sure to take some insect spray. In the evening there were a lot of mosquitos because of the lake. I immediatly got 7 bites within a few hours.

Fabulous hotel in a great location on the lakeside. The restaurant is exceptional and the sun terrace is set amongst beautiful planting and has direct access to to the lake with a pool and sunbeds/umbrellas. Bedroom was plain, but modern with comfy beds and a modern bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic as were the staff. Definitely would go back!

This is a friendly, luxurious hotel. Everything was great and if holidaying in that area again we would definitely stay there again. We stayed in 3 hotels on our trip and Giardinetto was by far the best. The facilities, food and staff were all fantastic.

Positive: friendly staff, great pool and access to the lake. Restaurants were ok but expensive Negative: despite me booking a superior room, it was very awkwardly laid out and tucked into a corner. The hotel is isolated and the nearby village is run down and has no atmosphere (rare for Italy)
