Myself and my husband stayed here for a week, in September 2024, this was our first holiday sole in 9 years, our children have grown up and we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary this year aswell, Robolla beach apart hotel is definitely not somewhere we will go back to and not will we recommend it to anyone. The apartment was ok, standard mattress was hard on the bed, unfortunately very tin walls between apartments so you could hear quite a lot at night including children crying in the middle of the night, 😏, however I will say the view was good from the apartment, about the only thing that was good. There is no nice welcome when you arrive staff don’t speak great English, and then yr travel tax that yr hit with when you arrive, that you can pay for their and then or when you leave, along with other things. If you go for a drink at the bar by the beach it’s charged to your room number, something else that’s not mentioned to you. Breakfast is ok, it’s a variety of different foods, but if you have and food or if you’re lactose intolerant then, best of luck 😏. We arrived on the Friday evening, on Saturday morning we went to the dining area for breakfast, found a table by the window which had a beautiful view, taught nothing of it and moved the items that were on it to another table, only to be shouted at by the manager in front of the entire dining hall. Not a great start to our holiday. Made a complaint but nothing from what we know was done about it. The complex is built on a hill so if you’re anyway mobile challenged then this is not the place for you. There is no entertainment in the complex apart from some music in the beach bar in the evening, but that stops early, your not told about activities or places to go, you have to find that out yourself, by talking to other guests. It’s not exactly a friendly place, dining staff just stand around, and there’s also the issue of being attacked by bees while in the dining hall when the large windows are opened, which happens to be every morning when breakfast is happening. Unfortunately this was and is not a great hotel but has the potential to be one of it was run better by a different people. The beach is quite small for what there is of a beach when it’s not covered in seaweed. And it’s one of tow access ruts to the near by village, only where the tide is not too high, otherwise you have to use the road which is very hilly and not very safe as the cars can drive quite fast pass you, so if your looking for a good holiday do your self a favour and DO NOT stay here.

Hi hotel makers and travelers, we been 16/09/2024 for a week, this hotel is pretty, nice apartment room with nice sea view, reception I think so is the more friendly staff in hotel, restaurant services is basic nothing best, just in dinner nice waitress say hello at door , nothing else, waiters just come late to ask drinks and sometimes no come, food is ok, bar in sea more friendly a restaurant but just 1 guy have shift afternoon/evening he is very arrogant don’t know how talk with customers, is the reason I didn’t be any more in this bar, is funny hotel manager’s no want guests drink from outside the hotel bar but have supermarket inside the hotel, how want control that, is ok , nothing bad, nothing good, a finally hotel is ok for a week, a thing so any travelers will be enjoy.

Problems with room (52) on the first day included broken mosquito net, being given two single beds instead of a double in the room and being told no information other than how to use the key to activate the lights by the porter. This meant three separate trips back and forth to reception, when all we wanted to do was unpack and get in the pool and cool off. On the fourth day our air-conditioning started leaking both inside the bedroom and outside on the veranda, shortly before we headed out for the evening. We told reception who claimed later that night someone had attended to fix, but it still didn't work and continued to leak the next day. Indeed, you could see tide marks on the wallpaper from previous leaks and also how it had damaged a pelmet surrounding the top of the curtains next to the internal unit in the bedroom. We spent the final three days with no air-con in 35º heat - although we were given a fan to use. Breakfast buffet was great, lots of choice and changed each day. Beach and sea were lovely and warm, but there were clearly issues with the upkeep of the grounds with holes in the pavement that could cause injury as well as damaged/leaning ground lights. It just all looked a bit unloved....a little tired and in need of some TLC. The biggest issue though was the attitude of the staff. Really poor approach to helping and most of the time my wife and I were left feeling unwelcome, especially when we were having problems with the room. The dining room waiters were quite unprofessional and seemed more concerned with throwing scrunched up tissues at each other and larking about than collecting the empty plates or running a dining room. Bit of a mixed bag therefore - great location, loved being on the beach/sea and the beach bar was fantastic to have close at hand. But overall the staff and the issues surrounding our facilities/room were what let the holiday down somewhat.

We've spent 10 days here at Robolla and it's been wonderful! The staff are some of the nicest, friendliest people I've ever come across, the lady at the beach bar remembered our drinks orders by day 2 (and we weren't there too often!) The man I assume to be the manager is so friendly and made a real effort to include our children and they even learnt some Greek which was lovely. The apartment we had was just a standard room, but had everything we needed and was cleaned daily. The pool areas (there are 3) are clean and tidy and staff are happy to bring you your iced coffee to your lounger. There are plenty of loungers in good locations so no 6am fights for the good seats. The restaurant for breakfast is busy by 9.30 onwards, but is always being restocked, my daughter opted for fresh watermelon and olives most days. Dinner time it gets a little warmer up there, so aim for the table by the aircon unit, or closer to the fans by the huge bifold windows overlooking the pool. The food options are plenty, catering well for me as a veggie, my meat eating husband and 2 fussy children. The little shop onsite has most things you'll need, but theres also a little place on the beach for extras. Yes there are stairs and hills, but I definitely wouldn't let it put you off, unless you have access requirements (which I'm sure they'd cater for if you spoke to reservations upon booking) the pool and beach bar area are perfectly placed when you have little people wanting to move locations every hour. The staff really make this place, so friendly and always happy to go the extra mile. If I didn't have about 1000 places on my travel list, we'd be back next year for sure! Thank you Robolla Team, lots of love from Room 19 xx

Myself and my daughter had a wonderful week at Robolla Beach Aparthotel. Our apartment was clean and comfortable with an amazing view from the balcony. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast every morning in the restaurant with loads of choice on offer. The pool area was very well maintained and there were always plenty of loungers. All in all it was a very relaxing and chilled holiday and we would love to go back to this hotel and Roda

Lovely hotel plenty of pools and sunbeds , food was decent but got repetitive . Al a carte menu was tasty especially the club sandwiches and pasta! Roda was a reasonably short walk across the beach / roads where there are plenty of bars /restaurants and shops. Only down side is if you have a young family there are no life guards around the pool / beach

A very honest review. We booked with EasyJet, we were never informed of room tax of 7 Euros per night. Transfer is long and over mountains so if you hate heights avoid. Upon arriving at the hotel the dark haired receptionist ignored us whilst we arrived at the counter. We felt like we were stood there for hours until she finally acknowledged us, no welcome, no enjoy your stay. We then were given a room at the top of the complex stunning room, avoid this hotel if you can't walk good, if you want to wear heels, you've no chance, it's up and down hill. To go to the nearest town it's down the rocky beach, okay in the day but dangerous at night. The local village is lovely and plenty of places to eat and drink. Breakfast was nice, a little repetitive though. On leaving the hotel the same receptionist didn't ask if we enjoyed our stay, no nothing, frankly just rude

We went for a family holiday in August 2022. We were checked in apartment room with one bedroom and two sofas - comfortable if you're rather small. There are two sections directly next two lobby building and up steep hill. There were always sunbeds available around three swimming pools and on the beach. Food was good but the restaurant was always loud and overflowing with gests. The staff did not mange to clean the tables timely. The hotel is within walking distance from the town - it's very pleasant short walk on the beach. We had HB option but all in. would be better as there is not much around to do and explore.
