Our experience of this hotel was very disappointing to say the least. The rooms are dated and our daughters room was absolutely disgusting, black mould covered the bathroom ceiling entering into the kitchen area and the kitchen units were visibly damp. the smell of the room was awful and damp, this was particularly upsetting as one of my daughters has asthma. the bathroom was infested with flies. this problem was brought to the attention of the manager who stated there must have been a leak? my reply was that black mould takes a while to grow and why were my daughters put in this room i would have expected housekeeping to have reported this. we also went to reception to report a dead scorpion in the kitchen light fitting. in general the hotel was in need of a good clean the pool was dirty with moss growing in the sides of the pool. we witnessed a manager? shouting at the pool person to clean the pool. some staff were quite rude especially the bar man, this was also reported, we were all inclusive and no diet drinks were available i asked what i could drink and staff said water. food was repetitive same for lunch as dinner. Staff were served before guests and and if you wanted a diet coke you were asked for 4 euros, along with milkshakes or lattes. there was no entertainment apparently it was on at 10pm on one evening whilst the all inclusive bar ended at 10.30pm. there was one member of staff serving the pool bar from 10.30am till 6pm and one person serving the main bar from 6pm til late. if you didnt order your drinks all at once he was quite abrupt and would serve the next person before finishing your order or if a member of staff came to the bar he would serve them first. We paid a lot of money for a special family holiday celebrating a birthday and will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. the area is beautiful but the hotel leaves a lot to be desired 4star rating it isnt im afraid.

Accommodation dated but clean, wifi awful, no kettle or crockery. Food average and only access to restaurant down a very steep hill, no lifts and resort very hilly. Small overpriced shop, often closed but only place to get water outside of meal times. Staff lovely. Cab transfer a nightmare! Salon sent for 4 adults, 4 bags and 4 holdalls. Couldn’t fit in and refused to send another car and threatened to send ( pre-paid) cab away leaving us stranded. Had no choice but to cram in with two cases on seats for 2hour drive to airport or miss flight. Never again, I do not recommend.

This hotel does not one bit look like the picture. The amount of algae in the pool is disgraceful and they don’t clean it at all. The staff is the rudest staff I have ever encountered they were so unhelpful and we had a severe leak in our bathroom which they did not fit at all. Do not go here

We stayed half board in this hotel in August 2024 as a family of 4 with two teenage daughters. The room was very small considering my daughters are 19 and 14. It was just one open space with no privacy between parents and children. There was no kitchen, and as we were staying half board we would have made good use of it. There was no cutlery , plates or even glasses to drink water in the room. Not even a kettle and the fridge was so tiny. We would expect a difference in the rooms between guests who are staying half board and who are all inclusive, as the hotel offers half board as an option. The air conditioning in the room was HORRIBLE. The room only cooled down fully by 3am after it was running throughout the whole night. It was so stuffy sleeping, basically no air. If the air conditioning were to be replaced it would greatly improve the quality of sleep. The rooms were also outdated and could use with a renovation. The pillows were uncomfortable and we had to ask twice at the reception for softer pillows, and only got it after talking to the lovely housekeeping staff lady herself. Rooms were cleaned every day to a good standard and towels and bedding changed regularly. There was shower gel, soap and toilet paper at all times in our room. There is no drying rack outside for swimsuits and towels so they had to be dried outside the front door on the stone wall or chairs. The food was ok. Tasty but basic, not much options for vegetarians and there was barely any seafood, only one type of white fish every day. No signs anywhere telling you what the food is. Restaurant opened for dinner at 7:30 pm but some of the meat wasn't even ready yet, and was only ready when we were done eating. But if you were to come at 8pm there would be no free tables left outside and it was impossible to eat inside as it was so hot and they had no air conditioning. Offered free water every evening and the staff in the restaurant were lovely, didn't pressure to purchase drinks like in other hotels. Breakfast was standard and tasty, special thanks to the guy frying pancakes and eggs :) All pools are saltwater pools, which is nice and unusual. There were two small pools and one big pool. Small pools are a bit dirty. A big upside is that there are a lot of sunbeds so there is no craziness in the morning running around trying to reserve a sunbed. Sunbeds are wooden with a soft mattress on top and not reclinable however very comfortable around the pool. Beside the beach the sunbeds are €14 for a pair and an umbrella. Bring your own towels. Each towel is €10 of which you get €6 back at the end of one week. The beach was very UNIQUE more of a fjord. It is for good swimmers , would not recommend for someone who is uncomfortable in deep waters and for small children. It was very beautiful and perfect for snorkelling. We saw so many different kinds and colours of fish and even a small octopus or squid! Beside the beach there is a diving school, which welcomes peoples from all

This was such a lovely experience. Location idyllic. Staff lovely. Food great. Pools clean and uncrowded. Not too many English which was lovely. only downside is distance from the airport. Not for partygoers, which is just what we wanted, friendly, lovely fresh food and best baklava ... takes an 1 hr, 45 minutes from airport, so factor that in. I cannot wait to go back..

Flew from Manchester to Chania. No shared taxi option so booked Private transfers. Only issue is that travel to resort took nearly two hours. Once we got there it was fine. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Accommodation is basic and may be need some TLC. Cretan village atmosphere. Food is typical Greek/Turkish. WAs OK. Lots of restaurant nearby. Took taxi to the town and had fantastic fish dinners. Pool is good. But most attractive is the cove on the left and another on the right. Beautiful clear sea. Fantastic to snorkel. But watch out for lots of divers. All inclusive package is OK. May be you could get better local wines in the supermarkets !

Good Points: The reception staff are lovely, as are most of the staff. The scenery is lovely. The beach at Plakias is beautiful. The rest: This hotel is tired, the food is very average to say the least. All inclusive ends at 10.30 even though the sparse entertainment doesn't. Take your own pool towel, i've thrown better away than the ones you can hire. The pool area is dirty, i didn't see it being cleaned the whole time we were there. Cocktails are not included nor are proper wine glasses, I actually was told that i'm not allowed one as they are 3 euros each if they get broken? The rooms, they are ok, pillows are rubbish but the bathrooms are awful, the hairdryer gets hot to hold and is glued to the shower screen.

We are currently staying at this hotel. The views are stunning and the hotel is spotless including all 3 pool area's.All the staff a very approachable and friendly and work very hard . The rooms are slightly dated and could do with a update but all have a fantastic view. The restaurant is buffet style and is standard fully inclusive food the drinks are OK but could do with a few More options on the drinks package and the fully inclusive stops at 10.30pm but the bar stays open until 12ish but you have to pay after 10 30pm I don't quite understand the reasoning and feel like I am being ripped off. By far the worst part of the complex is the beautiful beach cove area which is part of the hotel but is where the dive school is situated and they rule the roost using bar the area as there office and are unfriendly to us blue wrist band wearer's. A sun bed will cost you 7 euros even though its on the complex and seems to be a public beach with people walking around the whole hotel at will a bit concerning with no security on site. I

A fabulous place to stay. I contacted them in advance of my holiday, with some particular needs I had as I'm mobility impaired. Everything was organised for me and I had a follow up email response. Fabulous, friendly helpful staff, superb tasty food choices, different every day, great facilities. Very comfortable large rooms with huge beds that were really comfy too. The only thing that was missing was a kettle in the room, and I only had to ask, and one was provided.
