We stayed half board in this hotel in August 2024 as a family of 4 with two teenage daughters. The room was very small considering my daughters are 19 and 14. It was just one open space with no privacy between parents and children. There was no kitchen, and as we were staying half board we would have made good use of it. There was no cutlery , plates or even glasses to drink water in the room. Not even a kettle and the fridge was so tiny. We would expect a difference in the rooms between guests who are staying half board and who are all inclusive, as the hotel offers half board as an option. The air conditioning in the room was HORRIBLE. The room only cooled down fully by 3am after it was running throughout the whole night. It was so stuffy sleeping, basically no air. If the air conditioning were to be replaced it would greatly improve the quality of sleep. The rooms were also outdated and could use with a renovation. The pillows were uncomfortable and we had to ask twice at the reception for softer pillows, and only got it after talking to the lovely housekeeping staff lady herself. Rooms were cleaned every day to a good standard and towels and bedding changed regularly. There was shower gel, soap and toilet paper at all times in our room. There is no drying rack outside for swimsuits and towels so they had to be dried outside the front door on the stone wall or chairs. The food was ok. Tasty but basic, not much options for vegetarians and there was barely any seafood, only one type of white fish every day. No signs anywhere telling you what the food is. Restaurant opened for dinner at 7:30 pm but some of the meat wasn't even ready yet, and was only ready when we were done eating. But if you were to come at 8pm there would be no free tables left outside and it was impossible to eat inside as it was so hot and they had no air conditioning. Offered free water every evening and the staff in the restaurant were lovely, didn't pressure to purchase drinks like in other hotels. Breakfast was standard and tasty, special thanks to the guy frying pancakes and eggs :) All pools are saltwater pools, which is nice and unusual. There were two small pools and one big pool. Small pools are a bit dirty. A big upside is that there are a lot of sunbeds so there is no craziness in the morning running around trying to reserve a sunbed. Sunbeds are wooden with a soft mattress on top and not reclinable however very comfortable around the pool. Beside the beach the sunbeds are €14 for a pair and an umbrella. Bring your own towels. Each towel is €10 of which you get €6 back at the end of one week. The beach was very UNIQUE more of a fjord. It is for good swimmers , would not recommend for someone who is uncomfortable in deep waters and for small children. It was very beautiful and perfect for snorkelling. We saw so many different kinds and colours of fish and even a small octopus or squid! Beside the beach there is a diving school, which welcomes peoples from all
