Kedros Villas

We splurged on a booking at Kedros Villas for what was supposed to be a long honeymoon, but unfortunately left after just one night at our own expense because the conditions were unacceptable. For the price we paid (around $300 USD per night), we expected a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained property. Instead, what we found was very run-down and not at all like the online descriptions or photos. The shower in our suite was full of black mold. The breakfast offered slices of bologna and stale pastries, served in a space that resembled an abandoned cafeteria with peeling paint and plastic furniture. Much of the property was visibly crumbling, with an atmosphere that felt neglected and unsettling rather than welcoming. The nearly empty grounds only amplified the sense that this was not a functioning resort. After one night, we asked to check out and requested a partial refund for the remaining five nights. We felt this was a reasonable compromise given the serious issues and the price point. The manager refused and instead accused us of “blackmail,” which was both surprising and unfair. We then moved to a different hotel nearby in the same price range, where the quality and upkeep were on an entirely different level. When we returned briefly to return the beach towels we had borrowed, we found we had been locked out of our room without explanation. We also learned that the hotel even reported to the third-party booking site that we had never checked in, which was untrue and prevented us from leaving a review there. We travel frequently and rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case, it’s important to share. Kedros Villas charged premium rates but delivered conditions that were unsafe, unsanitary, and far below expectations. There are far better options in the area for the same cost.

Absolutely stunning place. Serene and beautiful and family run that cater to all your needs. Spa like feel and beautiful landscape. Biggest and cleanest pool in Naxos with fantastic sunbeds and close to the beach but you never have to leave the villa as it has everything. Maroula is kind and thoughtful and caring and made us feel at home. We didnt want to leave. Will recommend this place to everyone and will come back for sure. Thanks for everything Maroula.

Anastasia and Maroula were very accommodating to us and made our stay very comfortable. Every day our breakfast was delicious and made to order. They made it special with bread and jams and the coffee and tea was readily available .Our rooms were clean and the bathrooms always had fresh towels. The hot tub was a great bonus that we enjoyed every night of our stay and the view from our villa was amazing. Highly recommend these villas!

The family run hotel complex was wonderful. We stayed for 10 nights and the staff looked after us really well. Booking taxis, supplying bus tickets ( at 2 euro ) The free breakfast was superb- what a choice from locally made cheeses, bread, fruit etc as well as eggs and bacon. Cool pool with luxurious sun beds- we felt like VIPs. Only disadvantage is the distance to the town/ beaches- you need either a hired vehicle or get the bus. The bus is every 30 minutes or so but are sometimes full by the time they arrive and they don’t always drop you off when you ask them ( Naxos Palace hotel next door) The rooms were very comfortable and had everything you needed for self catering if needs be. Good views over the bay and towards the town. The close location of the airport didn’t interfere with our enjoyment as the flights don’t fly overhead. Thanks for a lovely holiday

We stayed in the two bedroom grand villa. We had a wonderful view of the town including the ferries coming and going, the windsurfers at the beach across the road, plus we overlooked the pool a few steps away from our villa. Staff were amazing. Food and service excellent. Highly recommend.

This was one of the best locations we have ever chosen for a family holiday. The house was amazing (overlooking the pool area), the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the pool area is large relative to the size of the resort. Everything was ideal and we have very happy memories. I can only give it 5 out of 5 but would give it a six if I could.
