Great hotel. Clean, nicely decorated, well maintained. Very good breakfast. Beautiful private sandy beach with clear warm water. Lots of sund beds in the nearby pool, many options for water sport. Professional staff providing excellent service. Spent a wonderful 5 nights family vacation and would happily return.

Amazing Hotel All Staff helpful and happy Rooms clean and cleaned every day. Breakfast was very very good (Omelettes Especially)and plenty of it covering all nationalities. Large complex but transport by sea or by road always on hand. Restaurants a little expensive but to be expected as 5 star hotel. Private beach swimming pool and hot tub and pool area managed well towels provided and no hassle for sun beds . All in all we had a fantastic week and if not for missing our dogs would have stayed another Highly recommended

We've spent a full week at this hotel, came especially for the golf course and a hopefully relaxed holidays. The golf course experience was good, very decent price and challenging enough course for a teenage beginner . Relaxation has pros and cons alike. First of all I was suprised by the huge number of babies and toddlers in the resort. This made breakfast ,beach and most of the restaurants at dinner very noisy and hectic. We've been in various turkish all incluive resorts were children were 50 times more, but there we are talking about huge spaces , at least half a dozen restaurants and so on. Room was ok, service was good and consistent throughout the resort . A special mention to the beach service in the Elounda Villas area , and for Nikos , the breakfast restaurant manager. The only downside of the stay was the lack of a minimal entertainment , music was so low as non existent, the hotel bar was very unwelcoming and open only during evenings , but completely empty and the so called DJ-nights at the restaurants (Il Borro and Sumosan) were a bad joke of a so called entertainment.

This hotel has so much to offer. Almost all the staff deserve high praise for being so incredibly helpful, welcoming and friendly, from Reception and breakfast staff to the smiling cleaning ladies and junior pool/ beach staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet is superb with an excellent selection of various foods , very fresh and delicious. Fantastic facilities for children with a wonderful kiddies pool and so close to the beach and stunning bay. Our Grandchildren had the best time. Our room and our Daughters room who was with her young family both came with problems. Spotlessly clean and spacious but a little tired and dated. Over the bath showers in the large bathrooms. We both moved rooms because the air conditioning wasn’t working hardly at all resulting in stiflingly hot rooms. The systems were also very noisy. Our room was next to the lift which was also noisy and kept us awake. The rooms we moved to were better, our Daughter was upgraded to a pool suite which had been refurbished and was lovely. Our new room which all have stunning sea views by the way still had very noisy air con but did at least work. Our biggest moan though was the 6.30 am scramble for sun beds. We arrived at the beach at 9am to find virtually every sun bed draped in towels with guests belongings on them. These same guests then often don’t turn up till midday or later. As we needed two parasols for three small children and four adults we decided we had to play the same game. Rising at 6am , which is far from what you want or need when on what is meant to be a relaxing holiday and costing a lot of money and when you lead very busy day to day lives. Arriving at the beach though what did we see ?, only the pool/ beach employee so so kindly bringing from his hut so many guests belongings and placing them on the sun beds. Towels, Lilos, books, beach bags full of stuff were placed on the sun beds . This we witnessed daily. This did actually spoil what could otherwise have been a perfect holiday.

I was very impressed with the 6 Senses Spa at Porto Elounda. It provides a calm, serene space in which to relax and unwind , replete with an indoor/outdoor infinity pool which overlooks the sea, and an authentic, beautifully decorated Hamam with marble fountains. The receptionists are attentive and professional , the therapists extremely well trained. Ely, the Spa manager, is a jewel ! Suraj Varma, the Ayurvedic practitioner is exceptional !!!

This is a classic and sad example of a hotel that has really tired with age, lost focus on service and ensuring the guest experience remains no 1 and above all and most sadly looks to charge you at every possible opportunity to the point it feels like extortion. Some really important things for anyone with family thinking of booking here. So here are my top 10 considerations. 1. “The football camp” really has nothing to do with Valencia, it’s only available for 1 hr per day depending on kids age and for the rest of the day they lock the astro and demand 32Euro for you to take it!! Like most, we don’t have a family big enough to play a game alone so it seems incredible they look to nickel and dime kids just wanting to play with other boys and girls and leave it for parents to pay for other kids keen to play. 2. The restaurants are massively expensive, 18 euros for a margarita pizza and anything with toppings 30 euros plus and the food is at best average. 3. The bedrooms are of a good size but be prepared that the decor is quite tired. 6/10 standard. 4. If you are getting a taxi ( group of 7*) prepare for an extra 200 euro charge each way 5. Beach bar badly under-serviced and with poor cocktails that are not hand made and priced at 14 euro plus in plastic cups 6. Soft drinks - bottles of coke are decanted and split into cups, so you end up paying for a 330ml drink but paid for a 500ml bottle they then serve to someone else. 7. Breakfast is definitely the highlight and can’t have any complaints so feed up in the morning! 8. Water sports really good, but mega pricey as you would expect of most. 9. Italian restaurant it’s pretty ok but staff are poor, lack attentiveness and feels hard to tip them with a manager that appears less keen on customers 10. Teens play room everything is charged, pool tables, football tables all 2euro a game so again the hotel seems like it wants to empty you for everything. Overall wouldn’t recommend this place largely on value for money, and would suggest IKOS as a far more superior hotel and all inclusive where you know you won’t get ripped off as soon as you arrive.

It’s a very nice place, Water sports rental place is fun, Yellow machines are awesome Kids ark has a water slide. There’s an amazing view from the rooms and the pool is amazing, beach is the clearest water and there is only one danger(sea urchins ). And those live only on the cleanest waters, Property is huge and it’s close to cute villages, Only two downsides, The room wasn’t the best but it wasn’t bad either, And food wasn’t great, people are very nice and the bar has good drinks for kids and adults, All in all we had a wonderful stay here and highly recommend it, Hot tub is very fun but doesn’t work. Water sports rental place is great again, The pool rooms have three beds,
