Porto Elounda is absolutely beautiful. Staff work hard, especially those who take care of breakfast and lunch. The girls at reception were very friendly and helpful. Our room was honestly amazing, with a private pool. The beach is also beautiful, clear water and water sports too. The pool area was very busy, especially full of children. There were plenty of restaurants, also in common with Mare and Peninsula , and they were all great. It was truly enchanting.

The view is stunning, personnel are very friendly and helpful; and the yoga, pilates and sound healing lessons of Grit Hammer (instructor at the Six Senses Spa) are really something special. I loved starting every day with her lessons, overlooking the ocean, loved it. Breakfast is also nice and the area of the private beach is charming. So, why don’t I rate it as 5? The room was a bit disappointing, quite small, the air conditioning didn’t work well and was very noisy, small in size for the price that you pay and food options at the hotel are limited, expensive and not great (other than breakfast). My children did enjoy the private pool at our room.

The concierge and reception is useless and clueless. I ask them to help me with something, and they delegate my problems to another service, who does the exact same. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION. Waste of time and money. DO NOT recommend. Awful experience. I will NEVER be coming back again.

The hotel is wonderful but be sure to ask for the refurbished rooms. They are really excellent with lots of space and great bathroom. And amazing view over the bay. The beach facilities and service are very good with access to two beaches. The overall quality of the service is very high. And the breakfast offers a very wide choice. However, the restaurants are overpriced and lack particular charm. Except for the Yacht Club restaurant in the sister and next door hotel which has an excellent location even if food remains overpriced for what you get. Best advice is to head off for dinner in nearby Elounda and taste the excellent local cuisine for more reasonable prices.

The resort has everything you need; the hotel, the beakfast, the beach, the sea, the water sports all excellent. The free classes for Pilates and Yoga we did everyday, so very good. Face yoga and Sound Healing were something we experienced for the first time and were amazing. Many thanks to Grit Hammer, the instructer. We are going to come again for sure.

An amazing hotel... a legend, everything is perfect... the view, the breakfast, the cleanliness, the order, the beauty, the design, the amenities, the attention to the smallest things and everything to make the guest feel the best and satisfied... each and every one of the staff without exception is sympathetic , kind, generous and welcoming in every field. We want to say a special thank you to Georgia the waitress from the Italian restaurant "Il Borro" Georgia is an extremely sympathetic woman, kind and always with a smile on her face and gives a good feeling. Beautiful hotel and resort. The beach and pool area are great. The room and the bathroom are large. Lots of clothing storage, drawers and closets. Huge deck with view of the sea. Comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent buffet breakfast with great service by Mr. Mathioudakis every day of our stay and also Georgia. Friendly front desk staff who are quick to offer assistance for offsite excursions or any general questions. Special mention to Aleta who was one of the friendliest people that we met on our 3+ week Greece trip. Aleta gave us amazing customer service on multiple occasions. She was always friendly, organized and helpful. This ensured that the Crete portion of our Greece trip was our overall favorite. The hotel is a bit of a walk to town (20-25 minutes) but it was mostly on a quiet road or sidewalk.

It was AMAZING!!! Highly recommend for a trip. Very fun, beautiful property, amazing food and lots of things to occupy you! Water sports was also awesome! Beautiful and very clean too! Rooms were pretty good, place to leave kids, water slide was AWESOME!!!
