We arrived 17/06/2025 to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary. We had been speaking on email with Elini who was very helpful and reassuring. I was very anxious after reading dome reviews but we didn't have to worry. Upon arrival we were given welcome drinks and told to take a seat. Check in was very quick. We were given a complimentary room upgrade. Our whole trip was fabulous. From the amazing food, the delicious cocktails, the attentive staff, we had the best time. We never had an issue getting a sunbed. We were in block 7 so did have the benefit of cool living which was worth it in my opinion. The buffet lunch in cool living was superb. We would like to mention George the hotel manager who was welcoming and so hospitable he even had champagne dropped to our room. George who drives the golf buggies and vehicles was our absolute favourite, so kind and happy all the time. I do understand some peoples concerns regarding the steep hills to the rooms but we always called reception and got picked up within a few minutes, its so well organised so don't let that put you off! Plus you will get to meet George! We will be back next year! Well done to all the staff!

If your planning to stay at this hotel definitely stay in Cool Living section and request a room number 800 and above! Beautiful friendly hotel with fantastic veiws from the exclusive cool living infinity pool/bar/restaurant. Postives: * Fabulous staff *Delish Food *Lovley clean room everyday *Excellent cocktail menu, fantastic procecco *Incredible weather ☀️ *Honeymoon package included... Fruit and a bottle of bubbles in room. Breakfast in bed for one morning. Spa massage for 2. Night out trip to the city. Wonderful free gifts in the room and on departure. * Grab and go drinks fridges we fab! Negatives: * Long wait for a pick up from the top of the hill if you missed the minibus. Mini bus every 30 minutes but hotel avertise golf carts when its actually mainly nissan cars taking you up and down. * Minimum day snacks in the cool living section but the main hotel bar at the bottom has an excellent selection if you can be bothered to travel down the hill. Cooling living guests should get the same snacks as paying more! *App to make restaurant reservations never worked for our whole trip. *Not all premium drinks are included as advised! Overall we had a fantastic holiday and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! Book Cool Living!

Amazing hotel with the most wonderfull views. The staff couldnt be more friendly anything you asked for they did their best to sort it for you. They even went the extra mile when our transfer refused to wait when the could t come up to reception to collect us and left us in the lurch (boy thats going to be a different review) they arranged and paid for a taxi to take us the 75km or so to the airport at no expense to ourselves. Rooms were neat and tidy transport up and down the hill was regular and easy and the food was all nice. Cannot praise this hotel enough and we look forward to coming back

A wonderful stay in a cascading hotel for adults only. Varied meals in several restaurants will certainly satisfy the most demanding palates. The view from the window to the sea gives peace and relaxation. I definitely recommend this hotel, the staff knows what it takes to ensure peace. The rooms are well-equipped and cleaned daily. I will gladly return here someday.

We spent our honeymoon at Domes Aulus Elounda and absolutely loved it. Huge thanks to George, the Operations Manager. Back in January, when we made our booking, we sent a bunch of questions and George personally replied to every email, patiently guiding us through everything and helping us feel confident about our choice. When we finally arrived, he welcomed us in person, remembered our conversation, and made us feel instantly recognized as Hilton members. The room upgrade was a wonderful surprise, and his warm, personal approach made all the difference. The view from our room was stunning, and the food at Greko Levante and Vatanne was honestly some of the best we had in Greece. This place has heart not just beautiful views and great food, but real people who make you feel at home. We’ll definitely be back!

We just came back from our 10-day stay at this hotel and the only thing that comes to my mind is this: inconsistency ruins everything From the very beginning, the rooms themselves vary A LOT within the same category. We booked a private pool room (Sapphire Zen) and despite our message almost two months prior to our arrival, we were admitted to a room with unusable pool (with a roof overhead, making the pool cold 24/7). Additionally, the shape of the pool was not the advertised L-shaped one, it was more akin of a plunge pool. After our complaint, we were transferred to a much better room, but we still had to spend two nights in the first one. If you end up with a rooftop over your pool, be prepared to never use it - it will simply be too cold as the pools are not heated at all and they rely on sunshine to heat up. Aside from the pool, the rooms were similar, BUT - the first one was way, way more run-down, with mold over the bathtub, cracked bahtroom doors and various other signs of age. The second room seemed to be renovated rather recently with everything mostly clean and pristine. For reference, the first room was 612, and the second was 602. The main pools are also inconsistant - the main pool at the foot of the hill is very pleasant and warm while the two Cool Living pools at the top are ice cold. I don't know whether it's due to heating and lack thereof or due to strong winds at the top, but it's such a let-down as the Cool Living pools are much better for swimming than the tiny main pool at the bottom. Cocktails - get ready to be totally dependant on the mood of the bartender as well as the amount of people behind you. Sometimes your cocktail will be prepared dilligently and be really tasty, other times they will just throw the ingredients into the shaker, shake it a bit and call it a cocktail. Caipirinha might be the worst offender here as some bartenders made it really well while some just mixed some cachaca with pre-made (i.e bottled) lime juice and sweet syroup, dropped a lime in and called it a caipirinha! I found it to be laughable that you need to specifically ask for a REAL drink to receive it. Also, while some bartenders were lovely, others seemed to despise their job and made you feel unwelcome whether they were busy or not doing anything. All the staff is overworked and almost every place is understaffed. Bars are understaffed, especially the Blu Bar; Island restaurant is understaffed and struggling during busy hours with visible chaos occurring with the waiters; food is not getting replenished fast enogh and everything seems to be tense. If you want a relaxed meal, arrive early for your meals. We preferred to go to the Cool Living area for buffet meals as the choice was smaller but generally tastier. A la carte restaurants are okay, with the Amphitheatre being the highlight. Yellow Sea is not worth unless you like sushi that is neither great not terrible, Greco Lavante is underwhelming (but had the nicest staff during our stay) a

Although we’ve been traveling for years, we don’t write reviews but this time, we felt we had to. Our stay at Domes Aulus Elounda was simply wonderful. We hadn’t booked a Cool Living room, yet we had an incredible time. The food was excellent wherever we ate, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. On our last day, while sitting outside the reception enjoying the scenery, something unexpected happened. A club car was parked nearby, slightly blocking our view. That’s when George, the Operations Manager, came over and introduced himself. He kindly offered to move the vehicle so we could enjoy the view fully, asked what we’d like to drink and soon returned with our drinks. Then came something truly memorable: an impromptu history lesson. George spoke with real passion about the region, its traditions, and the culture of the island. It wasn’t just informative it was heartfelt and inspiring. Before we said goodbye, he warmly invited us to return and told us to reach out to him directly next time so he could make sure everything was perfect. In all our years of travel, we’ve rarely come across this level of genuine hospitality. We will definitely be coming back next year.

The staff were incredible, all the way through. Our housekeeper Julia went the extra mile with our room and we sincerely appreciated it. Food was amazing all the way through, despite some previous poor reviews. I found it to be fresh and tasty. We had a Sapphire Zen Suite with a private pool, and it was lovely. The placement of our rooms made it tricky to organize going up to the cool living section and down to the main part of the resort for dinners/drinks, but it’s part of the destination and the views largely make up for it! I would go back every year, it was truly a wonderful holiday.
