Nice, clean place with room for improvement. The room was fine, cleaned correctly everyday. The food can be better but you can always choose something that will suit you and it is fresh. The sweet stuff was great. The staff is very polite, the manager is very proffesional. In the kitchen there is Giorgos who is very polite and friendly, the waitreses and waiters are nice and polite. The reception staff is kind, polite and professional. The bartenders were very nice and polite. The shining star of our visit was one of the bartenders named Nektarios. Funny, witty, with a smile on his face. Always had a story or anegdote for us. Be sure to visit the bar in the evenings when he is there and you won't be dissapointed.

We loved the staff, especially Ioanna, Anna and Nektarios. They are perfect hosts / hostess and made you feel very welcome. Polite, friendly, helpful and genuine. But also the others were very kind, for that we would return.

The star of this hotel is bar tender Nektarios with whom I spent many an evening with at the pool bar putting the world to rights and joining in with the occasional shot with the Polish visitors, cheers from Steve. We had a good time here staying for two weeks in May all inclusive, The hotel is well situated for walks to the shops or other nearby bars and restaurants should you require a change. It is clean and has attentive friendly staff. The food is good but a little bit limited on variety. We had no problem with sunbeds round the pool which we preferred to the beach, Overall a great location that delivers what it says on the tin. I would have no problem recommending it and would return again myself.

Absolutely Fabulous Holiday Here. Stunning Hotel, beautiful clean, fresh aesthetic throughout. Had a junior suite room in the building on the beach, WOW! It was super clean, comfortable and within 30 second walk to beachfront. Cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Food is good, maybe not exactly to everyones taste but we always managed to find something. But we planned eating out a few times anyway so didn't get too repetitive for us. The desserts are really good. Thursdays they have a greek party in the restaurant which was fun & Gyros were served at the buffet, really nice. Shoutout to the staff in the restaurant also, they work so hard & cant do enough for you. I found the drinks disappointing tbh i couldn’t find anything i could enjoy, but i am particular in that depar**ent so maybe personal preference. The barmen were a pleasure & offered a great service within their means. With that said i still believe this hotel deserves 5*. My partner lost his phone & bank card on our arrival here & we come to the conclusion they may have been left in the taxi, as we arrived late there wasn’t much we could do so we spoke to reception and headed to bed. We received a call to our room first thing in the morning from reception advising us that the phone & card had been found by the pool area by the cleaners. This was a huge relief to us & saved us alot of hassle & stress. But more than that it really put us at ease for our entire stay as it gave us a warm sense of trust & integrity from the hotel & all the staff. 10/10 The sun beds are so so comfy and have stunning views of the beach, always managed to get one when needed. The location is great, quiet this time of year but so many Amazing restaurants and bars within walking distance to enjoy the full Cretan vibes. Absolutely recommend this hotel and would certainly love to return. Thank you for the most Amazing holiday to every single member of staff we had encounters with. It was a pleasure.

Just back from an amazing week in Crete. Would 100% recommend this hotel. The food, drink & staff were all fabulous. Angelo (at the beach bar) absolutely made our holiday - we definitely will be back!

What a super hotel! My daughter, a very old family friend & I had a delightful week in Solimar Turquoise. The bar & the pool & the bar & the beach, the optional Greek night & our lovely junior suite were brilliant. The staff - Anna (manager), Anastasia, Angelo, Angelika (not EVERYONE had a name starting with A!) Yanni & Tall + our housekeeper were the staff we had most to do with and who looked after us SO well. A big thank you to everyone we came into contact with, for a spoiling stay... M, B & P

4 Star ??? Not quite read on.. we had a junior suite which was fine, plenty of space, clean and well maintained so no issues there. The rest of the interior of the hotel is also clean and well maintained and the staff were all very friendly. The food choice for breakfast was as you would expect so no complaints there. Here’s where it gets disappointing The lunch and dinner was pretty much the same options everyday with maybe a slight change on the way the meat was cooked. The pool area is very tired and in need of some refurbishment. The drinks are all served in the same plastic tumbler whether you want a beer or a premium G & T even at night when the pool is closed. The food choice is laughable with basically a cold sandwich with leftover ham and cheese from breakfast or a tub of leftover salad. The beach bar is pretty much the same but without any food option at all. My biggest gripe with this hotel is their lack of service on check out. We were unable to keep our room after the 11.00 check out. We were advised this would be possible for €40 but on the morning of checkout we were told it wasn’t possible. Ok is there a secure luggage store ? No just leave it in the corridor but it’s not secure. Do you have a curtesy room or facility to get changed, our pick up isn’t until 6.30 ? No but you can use the pool and the shower in the toilet. Conclusion is this a 4 star hotel ? No it could be but but it lets itself down in few areas that could be easily addressed

Overall this was a really lovely hotel and stay. I'll write about the things most notable and important to us when we were looking to book a hotel. Everything is clean, the maids came every day and changed sheets and towels and left the room immaculate. The pool area always had sunbeds available in sun or shade, comfy loungers, lovely pool at the main building. The pool by the beach is also nice but smaller, but you also have the sea right there. We got a voucher so that we would not have to pay for sunbeds on the beach front in front of the hotel on check in. The pool bar serves nice drinks, lovely light beer, and there are some snacks in the fridge outside of meal times like wraps and sandwiches, as well as help yourself ice cream. The pools were open 9-8pm. The sea in front of the hotel is quite choppy, but a 15 minute walk right along the beach the water was much calmer and beautiful for a swim. Our room was 321, and lovely. We had mountain views and also could see the pool area from the balcony. It was lovely and quiet. There were some pool towels to use, these were quite tired and threadbare, but saves you packing your own towels. Bath towels were lovely and fresh every day. We seemed to be the only british speaking couple in the hotel, we did not come across any others. That was ok for us, we were just there to chill. The entertainment is confined to thursday greek nights. It wasn't our cup of tea, a guy with a keyboard and disco lights, but entertaining to watch others have the time of their lives. The food was absolutely fine. We paid a very reasonable price for all inclusive, so our expectations for food were not high, but you can always find something to your taste even if some of the dishes look a little dubious. Chips were lovely, Gyros night was delicious, and the deserts are definitely the star of the show (aside from lurpak butter which in the uk costs more lb for lb than 14k gold). The staff on the front desk were so lovely and helpful. The bed was a little hard for me and I woke with sore hips and after telling the front desk, they put another mattress topper on for us and that was loads better. The pillows were a bit thick for us, and we asked for a thinner one but it wasn't much better. The staff on the pool bars were fine and cordial although not as friendly as the front desk staff. I appreciate we went at the end of the season so they are likely done in by this point, but they certainly were not as friendly as I've experienced on other holidays in Greece. Location is great, lots of tavernas and shops on the main *****. We got the bus right outside the hotel into Chania one day, it cost 6 Euro return for two of us. Chania is quite beautiful, especially the charming side streets. We had a lovely stay and for a brilliant price. The food is not 5* standard but that's not what you're paying for - we did go out for food a few times which we could afford to do due to how fairly priced it was. All this alongside it bei
