The View Agadir

Look this is a great hotel The problem is that they require a large deposit on arrival. As I used a prepaid card abroad I did not want to use that. Instead I use Amex for the £700 deposit. On departure I paid my bill with my prepaid card and was assured that my Amex transaction had been refunded Now 2 weeks on I have had no such refund and the hotel seems to think it is my problem to resolve

Excellent meal at the Italian restaurant Staff and perfect service. Thank you everyone especially Khadija for your kindness and professionalism (the filet mignon was super delicious, tender) good suggestion 👌 The price justifies the quality and especially the portion which is rather generous. Thank you for this good time, we will come back with pleasure to taste the rest of the menu . I highly recommend , and definitely i will comeback and hope to see the same faces again !

Cons - Construction currently ongoing on the wing of the hotel closest to the beach (our room 260 directly opposite suite being renovated) lots of dust and noise during the day. Could be heard in the hammam 4 floors below. Relatively new hotel so some minor issues - some USB outlets didn’t seem to work, AC needed looking at when first checked in. Also weird design, no outlets near a mirror for hairdryer etc. Additionally we didn’t get a lot of information at check in re: meal times etc or a drink. Could’ve just been an oversight for us. No hair conditioner but 2 types of shower gel? apparently the shampoo is 2-1 but not convinced. I’d bring separate conditioner. There are 2 beautiful heated indoor pools - the only catch is that you have to pay extra to use it or book a spa trea**ent (?!?!) Breakfast starts at 7 but staff often still setting up and floors being cleaned (wet and dangerous) Salad/ veg bar very limited during breakfast Pros - It’s shiny new and beautiful. From my understanding a lot of the other large hotels are quite dated. Landscaped gardens, glistening swimming pools, plenty of poolside seating in individual loungers and 2 person seaters. Multiple cosy indoor seating areas. Attentive poolside staff on hand with towels and drink orders (Usama and Tariq thank you!) the rooms are clean, the showers are powerful (rain and handheld) plus toilets come with bidet spray. Plus the whole hotel just smells expensive?! Attentive staff - they really made our stay feel special. Helping us with advice and requests. Location - on the more northern side of the promenade therefore close to many eateries, obviously the con is that the beach can get quite crowded immediately adjacent. Having said that there is a private roped off area just for the hotel residents. Just a note that the loungers aren’t very close to the water; the beach is actually quite wide. The luxury Hammam experience was amazing, it’s not cheap but you really feel very pampered at the end (thank you Amal!) Seems pricey compared to other local Hammams but when you compare it to Europe’s massage prices, it’s actually not so bad . Overall 100% recommend and would stay again. Tip- we booked a “pool side view”, it was perfect with the balcony. Avoid paying extra for the ocean facing! The lower floors look directly onto the promenade with lots of noise and little privacy.

We had a wonderful stay in The View hotel in Agadir and we are definitely recommending the place. The stuff was lovely and really helpful every time we needed. The restaurants are amazing. The food is fresh and very delicious. The kids club was one of the best we ever experienced. The temperature in the pool was perfect & The access to the beach was very easy. Everybody in our family was happy :)

We had an amazing experience at this hotel , the staff were lovely kind and welcoming.the managers were always there to supervise everything. We felt safe and happy to be there . I really recommend you to spend your holiday there 😎. See you soon

So welcoming, friendly and positive. In particular, Reda is an amazing, lovely young man, with beautiful manners. Fabulous service. Lovely coffees too ☺️ Such a pleasure - totally recommend.

This is really a 5 star hotel. Beautiful space; pools; beach etc. large and very comfortable room. Great amenities. Unparalleled hospitality from the front desk to the pool guys. Clean. Best breakfast buffet I ever had. Restaurant dining expensive and a little too haute cuisine for my taste. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Not quite yet a 5 star hotel. Needs a little more attention to detail and room facilities. No bath robes hand towels in bathroom on arrival.Good hairdryer but no where sensible to plug it in near a mirror. Bathroom door very hard to open and close. Tea and coffee e facilities badly placed and difficult to find how to plug kettle in. The phone to reach reception so modern impossible to work out how it worked . Finally light plugs in bathroom and toilet badly placed inside and too far to easily reach in the dark.Would be better placed outside so can turn on before entering. However there is a phone in the toilet? On the good side the breakfast is superb and the pool fantastic. The restaurants are far too expensive so most people ate out every night as we did.The pool bar is also expensive for drinks and snacks. The hotel needs to look again at its prices and facilities if it wants to be classed 5 star.

Very beautiful hotel, staff are so friendly and the setting and location is great. There isn’t really much of an a**osphere unfortunately, no entertainment or vibe and just a bit of nothing spot. The hotel itself is stunning and the place personifies chill. The prices in the restaurant are insanely expensive and not worth it and we were surprised with how quiet the hotel in general was. Nothing going on, it seems to be trying to be a super fancy hotel but with that there isn’t really a definite character for the hotel. We ate out daily as the food was average and as mentioned, so expensive for what it is. Freezing cold pool honestly it was probably one of the coldest ive been in and the pool towel service is non existent. Probably not the best hotel if you’re with a family as there’s nothing to do at the hotel for kids and very quiet but a stunning hotel all the same.
