Stayed from 28th August for 1 week. Travelled as a family of 6. Arrival and check-in: On arrival was asked to leave our luggage’s outside the entrance by security and to check in at reception. We booked 3 double rooms and asked for them to be next door to each other. Was given rooms on a 2nd floor behind the spa. Note, there are no lifts, so if you have issues with climbing stairs, I advise you to let reception know so they might try and accommodate you. We arrived just after 11am, was told the rooms would not be ready until check in time of 3pm so was advised we could get something to eat at the restaurant Tamaris, this is where they serve breakfast and lunch. We were given a map of the complex with all amenities numbered so you can find your way round. They gave us stickers with our room numbers to place on each of the luggage’s so when the rooms do become available, the porters would bring them up. No issues leaving the luggage’s out by the entrance as security are always outside. If we wanted to get an update on the availability of the rooms in case they were ready sooner we were told to email them. Would have been better if they contacted us even if one of the rooms were free at least you could freshen up etc. Anyway, we made our way to the restaurant and just about caught the end of the breakfast serving which finishes at 12pm. Staff were already tidying and packing up, so we quickly grabbed some eggs, beans and little beef sausages, the food was somewhat cold, but we were hungry after a long journey so didn’t think too much of it. Around 1.30pm we went back to reception to get an update on the rooms, didn’t bother emailing and luckily 2 out the 3 rooms were ready. Luggage’s were still outside and had to wait for porters to bring them up when they were free, so we grabbed some of our swimwear out the bags and headed to the rooms. Rooms: They look like what you see in the photos, but not quite. We found various issues in each of the rooms. AC not working properly, balcony door stiff and handle wouldn’t work, meat of some kind left in the mini fridge from previous occupant, oh and funny enough reception called my room and when I picked up the receiver the cord fell out the phone. They were checking in to see if we got into our rooms. One thing the rooms had in common was ants. Didn’t see an army of them, but they were in each room some on the walls, some in the bathrooms! I would expect a daily surface and floor clean properly done would take care of it, but doubt the rooms are mopped. The room has two single beds pushed together, a mini fridge with two big bottles of water that gets replenished daily. Unfortunately, no fizzy drinks or a kettle for tea or coffee. They had a TV which had two English channels where you can find movies and a BBC news channel. I was hoping you can screen share from phone or login to Netflix or something but no! Not a big deal though. Showers seemed ok no water leaks and the room does get a clean of sorts, to
