This is our second time staying at the wonderful Rigas Boutique Hotel. The only difference this time is , we took two very good friends along to share our little gem. I warned them on approach to the hotel , that it wasn’t what it appeared from the roadside and not to judge a book by its cover. Walking down to reception, we were met by Maria who checked us in and offered us a lovely glass of Prosecco with a tint of bubblegum liquor, it was very refreshing, and there was the wow of the view from the rooftop restaurant/bar, our friends loved it right from when we we arrived. We had Superior rooms 224 and 222 , located in the second block on the second floor with those amazing views. As per the last time, our rooms were quite spacious, it had a kettle with tea/ coffee facilities , lovely comfortable bed, iron/ironing board, lovely balcony with a table and chairs with amazing sunrises. What is really nice about the Rigas Boutique Hotel is they have the same staff, so it was lovely to see Tila , Stella and Kristina who are an absolute delight to deal with, they are a credit to the Hotel as this a big part of your holiday. The breakfast as always was really good, everything you could want in a breakfast , you can eat in a semi inside/outside restaurant for breakfast which was absolutely lovely, we ate twice in the restaurant ( Tuna ) the food was amazing, we were lucky as there was four of us, we were given a voucher per couple for a bottle of wine when eating in the restaurant. The beautiful sandy beach is located directly below the hotel, there is a pathway all the way down to the beach which takes 8 minutes to walk, if you turn left on to the beach and go to the far end, there is a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear waters , you can hire two sun beds and umbrella for €10 for two for the day, they are right in front of a beach bar where we enjoyed our Aperol Spritz and club sandwich’s The staff are super friendly, the only criticism, is that they play music through speakers and it can be quite loud sometimes, but you endure that to be on that little bit of paradise . We love love love the Rigas Hotel and cannot wait to go back next year of wine if you eat in their restaurant
