LaLiBay Resort & Spa - Adults Only

Spent a fantastic 8 days in the wonderful Lalibay. It’s a beautiful resort in a super location. We had such a relaxing time, enjoyed the wonderful sunshine right on the sea. The team couldn’t do enough to help ensure we had a great time. Lovely food in the Achinos Beach Bar, the Greek salad was just delicious as were many other dishes. We enjoyed two dinners in the Kavos restaurant too, excellent seafood in the most idyllic location. The spa is super, my sister enjoyed 2 massages while I was treated to a head, neck and arm massage as well as accessing the thermal suites. We hope to be back next year! A big thank you to all the staff who made our trip, Vana, Elena, Dimitris, Spyros, Giota, Olga and Thanos and the entire team. who took such care of all the guests.

Very friendly and helpful staff, some even recognised us from our previous visit last year. Very peaceful location, however this does mean if you want dine outside the hotel it requires a return taxi. We have always visited in June when it is like a private resort, however can’t comment on peak seasons. As mentioned in previous reviews can highly recommend the spa.

We just had the chance to stay at LaLiBay Resort & Spa and we had a 5 star experience across the board. ROOMS: We have had the chance to travel to many countries throughout Europe and Central America and have stayed at resorts - hotels - and airbnbs and we both woke up after the first night saying the same thing... "This is the best guest bed we have ever slept on!" The room size met our expectations. While we have experienced bigger rooms our room was on brand with other rooms we have stayed in throughout Europe. It maximized every inch and it also didn't hurt that we had a great view of the sea and sunsets every night. Modern design and everything was intuitive (ie we didn't have trouble getting access to our electricity, which was actually what we experienced at our last resort while in Greece). In addition to our room, they had an outdoor exercise area which had all the necessary equipment to get a complete workout in. The spa rooms were clean and extremely comforting. The saltwater pool was refreshing for our 90 degree plus days and we had a blast getting some late night swimming in and all the beach and pool chairs/tables/tents met our expectations. STAFF: We had a seamless check-in. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant to the beach bar to the spa was very kind and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs/desires. During checkout the staff were playing music from the band Coldplay and shared how they were headed to Athens for the concert later that night and we happened to be too! We kept saying to each other how impressed we were with how personable all the staff was throughout our time there. Remembering our names, remembering how we specifically liked our coffee in the morning. (Side note Freddo Espresso ... is an incredible caffeinated drink ... reminded me of a Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso from Starbucks sans the oatmilk ... which was nice to taste familiar things when visiting a new place.) One of the restaurant managers gave us a list of their personal favorite spots off the island and everything we tried from their recommendations was excellent and met expectations based off their description. Both massage therapists were extremely kind, generous and professional. We have gotten other spa experiences prior to LaLibay where one of us walked away not as satisfied as the other. This was definitely not the case. If it is available, we both got the Pistachio Candle package AND DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!!! LOCATION: Is ideal for those looking for a greek island experience while still wanting to remain close to Athens/mainland. We loved that the entire resort very easily accessible. The port/village is quaint and had lots of fun little shops. The biggest surprise for us was how affordable everything was if you are going on a modest budget.

Always a pleasure to visit Lalibay. The staff are consistently friendly especially the team in Achinos beach bar. The new manager Thanos seems to be a breath of fresh air and has introduced some nice changes. The menu in the bar is great and the food quality is always excellent. The team in the Spa run by Eleni are excellent and I thoroughly recommend a massage from Vadim. Glad to see they have changed the beach subbed this year which is a great improvement.

This stay has been a DREAM. Of course, the amenities were fabulous and decently priced + the Island is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted it to be. And while I expected the stay to be beautiful and excellent, I did not expect the level of experience that the LaLibay staff provided. They were responsive, always helpful, extremely accommodating of odd requests (example: I had to work during my stay, and they helped me and my friends find a bigger space I could do our work thing), and helpful with recommendations where to go. Extra big and special shoutout to Alex, who was super prompt, helpful, and showed up before I even knew I needed anything. He anticipated my needs, and was so delightful to interact with -- just so exceptionally kind and customer-centric. Also a big shout to Thanos, the manager, who really went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as pleasurable as possible. Spiros for fabulous food and sight seeing recs, prompt service, and enthusiasm. Meli for being just SO kind that I aspire to be like her one day. :) If you stay here, you're bound to have a lovely and beautiful experience.

Lovely stay in May, hotel was great and so was the pool area, breakfast was lovely too. A car would be good to get around. Aegina is a really nice little Greek town, lots of restaurants and bars, it felt like going back in time and not full of sports bars. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful! Everything was great. The Spa, the setting, the staff and the food. Can't recommend it enough. Room was lovely with a beautiful sea view and buildings done in such a way that privacy is ensured

Perfect place to unwind from the stress of daily life. The grounds and the staff could not have been nicer. The room was immaculate and extremely well thought out and comfortable. Very easy to get to quickly by ferry from Athens. We would not hesitate to come back in the future.

A wonderful experience. Rooms, facilities, gardens, beach areas were all at a very high standard. Food in the restaurant and beach bar was excellent. All staff were friendly and very helpful. The short taxi ride to nearby Aegina worked well. A really pleasant vacation and I would highly recommend the resort to anyone thinking of travelling to Greece. Barry (from Ireland)
