The Atlantis Beach was a good choice for my visit to Rethymnon. A free room upgrade made it even better

The hotel is very new, with good facilities, and meets the five-star standard. The location is also very good, right by the sea, opposite the beach is nice, there are two swimming pools in the hotel, the children had a lot of fun playing in the water. The hotel I booked included two meals, the taste was great, very satisfied. The fee for one more child is 48 euros. It is reasonable according to its facilities, I hope to have the opportunity to go there again next time.

The Atlantis Beach Hotel & Spa is excellent, a fantastic location, clean and good sized rooms, and a great place to relax. Everyone at the hotel was lovely, from all the people behind reception, the restaurant staff and the friendly faces we saw every day around the pool and on the beach, and couldn't be more helpful. The hotel amenities are superb, with pools, a gym and a spa, an outside bar and a great value restaurant. The breakfast and evening meal buffets are excellent, with a very wide choice to suit any diet and great value. We will come back. Highly recommended.

Great 10 day stay at the Atlantis Beach. Pros: - Lovely welcoming staff, great with the kids and took time to smile and engage. - Swimming pool area was fantastic and the 'no resevation' rule of sunbeds really helped with fairness of allocation - never felt busy and always managed to secure a sun lounger no matter the time of day - Location was 3km (30min with kids) walk into the old town - we did a mix of walking when it was cooler and getting a taxi when it was hot (6 euros) - Grounds, room and restaurant were immaculately clean - and the cleaning staff were lovely. - Cinnamon cookies in the breakfast buffet were amazing!! Cons: - Sadly we had 2x single beds pushed together for our main bed - which meant every time we moved they'd split apart - this wasn't ideal for us as a couple. - The mattresses on the main two single beds were the hardest I've ever slept on - sadly hubby and I had to kick the kids off the sofa bed by night two as that was marginally more comfortable (and we didn't raise this with the hotel as by then we'd settled into the room and unpacked) Overall, we did have a lively stay and the hotel is clearly one of the better ones in the Rethymnon district. If we were to come back, I would recommend this hotel, but next time I'd ask to change mattresses!!

Excellent hotel, can’t fault a thing! Great location - approximately 30min walk into old town along the beach front which is lined with shops, cafes and restaurants. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and modern and the house keepers keep everything clean and tidy. We had a sea view room which was amazing, waking up to the ocean and the nicest sunrises we have ever seen. The pool area is great, never a lack of sun loungers, nice pool bar. The staff are wonderful, from reception, house keepers, restaurant staff, bar staff - they are all so friendly and can’t do enough for you. They made our stay truly memorable, thank you to all! Rethymno is a lovely place, full of shops, bars and restaurants. There is an open top bus to take you around the area and several boat trips to do. We rented jet skis - brilliant! The harbour is beautiful- the restaurants there are lovely, they have fresh sea food which is amazing, can be quite pricy though. Head into the streets of the old town and you can find some lovely authentic places selling traditional Cretan dishes for reasonable prices.

Visited Atlantis with my wife for 4 nights for her birthday and from arrival to departure had the best time. Amazing location right on the beach, staff were courteous, friendly and happy to help at any point. They even arranged a small birthday cake for my wife and kept us a small meal which was handy due to us arriving after the restaurant had closed. Gym was small and only had four machines with some free weights which was disappointing. Also, room was slightly smaller than I was expecting but was clean, modern and had everything we needed. We opted for the sea facing view which was great however don't feel it completely justified the extra cost. These are small gripes from what is otherwise an amazing hotel. Went half board which I'd highly recommend, plenty of selection and has a live show on Wednesdays. Hotel has two pools however the proximity to the beach meant we didn't use them. The beach staff were friendly and quick with our orders. Overall am thrilled we chose Atlantis as a hotel can so often enhance or take away from a holiday. Am definitely planning on visiting again Truly a five star experience 🌟
