I have been going to the Hotel Alpina for ski holidays since I was a child and have loved it ever since. Now I have been there for the first time with my 7-month-old daughter and I was delighted again. Superbly equipped for children, very friendly staff, fantastic food/buffet, as well as a beautifully renovated dining room, comfortable, clean rooms, competent and courteous administration. Simply fantastic all round! I recommend the Hotel Alpina to all families (we have been there for years as an extended family with uncles, aunts, cousins and grandparents) but also with friends or alone and as a couple, it offers everything you could wish for! Many thanks to the entire Hotel Alpina team for this year's and all the past great stays with you!!!

The location is very nice and quiet. The rooms are fine. The staff is very friendly. The food is good. There are enough parking spaces, which we really appreciated. The parking spaces were all paved and so were the driveways.

We stayed at the Alpina for two nights in June. The family room in the attic was functionally furnished and big enough for two nights. Despite the heat, the attic was bearable. One small drawback was that our room was not made up. We noticed this when checking out and it was not a problem for one night. Apparently there are different booking categories, which can apparently lead to confusion. There are lots of things to do for the children (mini golf, petting zoo, indoor play rooms, etc.). The breakfast buffet was good, with an appealing selection, in keeping with the 3 stars. We ate dinner outside. It is a Christian hotel, but we were not "converted" and were able to move around freely.

Perfect location for families with children. Service and staff are friendly and help with questions. Nice, spacious and clean family room with a beautiful view over Adelboden. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday, highly recommended!

This review is based on a short stay of just one night. The manager and the staff do their duty, but no more. There is obviously a defined process for all work. As a guest, you feel more organized than looked after. There is little room for some communication and a smile that would make the guest feel welcome. The staff would certainly feel more comfortable if they could better develop their existing potential in this area. This would require setting an example and some training. The quality of the evening meal was mediocre and the presentation questionable - and not appropriate for the price. The wine selection is very modest. This establishment is probably better suited to larger groups who create their own life and atmosphere.
