Decent hotel on the main road of the town. The room was good but din't feature feature much of a view. The gentleman at the breakfast buffet didn't speak English which was a bit weird especially in Switzerland.

Sehr zuvorkommend und kompetenter ausgesprochen, freundlicher Empfang! Als Gast fühlte man sich wirklich herzlich willkommen. Unser Hund wurde liebevoll empfangen, was unser Flöggli mehr als nur genossen hat. Essen schmeckte super. Portionen waren fürstlich. Salatsauce sensationell. Bedienung, super nett!Wir können den Bären nur weiter empfehlen. Frühstücksbuffet ebenso - ein Traum…! Angela und Peter mit Flöggli

Meine Frau und ich gönnten uns ein paar Tage Auszeit in Adelboden und Umgebung.Vor Jahren waren wir schon mal, anlässlich eines Volksmusik Anlasses in Adelboden . Dieses Mal waren wir zusätzlich auf der Engstligen Alp mit einem feinen Fondue im Iglu, ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Vorgängig hatten wir im Hotel Bären eigecheckt.der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war äusserst sauber ,und am Abend hatten wir das à la carte Restaurant besucht.Das Essen war vorzüglich, das Personal aufmerksam und freundlich.Leider kam beim Morgenbuffet die Ernüchterung. Die Tische waren nicht gereinigt (siehe Foto) und das Dargebotene eher im Stil einer Jugendherberge, was dem Preis-Leistung nicht entsprach und rechtfertigte.Ich würde sagen, dass es da noch viel Luft nach oben gibt.Alles in allem hatten wir im Hotel Bären einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.

Top Lokal mitten in Adelboden an der Hauptdurchgangsstrasse. Immer gut besucht. Reservation empfehlenswert. Für Gruppen von mehr als 2 Personen ist Reservation fast unumgänglich. Ich hatte Glück, aber ich war ja auch alleine. Grosse Auswahl an Speisen. Sehr schmackhaft zubereitet. Personal sehr freundlich und hilft mit guten Ratschlägen und Empfehlungen. Preise sind nicht eben günstig, aber für die gebotene Qualität angemessen.

Pas que les gens, mais aussi les chiens sont très bien accueilli ! L'ambiance chalet avec l'aménagement moderne - génial ! Personnel attentive et très professionnel merci beaucoup. Situé en plein centre, cet hôtel se trouve au cœur de la vie du village, tout en assurant un ressourcement et le calme pour ses invitées.
