"The staff were great, the size and fitout of the apartments were good and for Adelaide CBD the price was competitive compared to room only stays.
The positives as well as above were the location to the main shopping area ( Rundall Mall ), the bus station, tram stops, theatre and numerous restaurants/ bars.
The negatives - noise ++. The rooms are off a very stark, concrete and bear corridor, no dampener on the doors and no sound insulation in the rooms. We could hear talking, shutting off doors, walking in the corridor etc - no problem at 6pm but at midnight when we had a 5am alarm it was a deal breaker. No one was being loud, the apartment complex is just a sound nightmare for light sleepers. No helped by tye face the bedroom is on the corridor wall and has a large window to the corridor.
The other issue for me was the quality of the sheets, they were quite rough and uncomfortable on the skin.
If you are a good sleeper then this us an ideal stay. If you are a light sleeper then pack the ear plugs."
"Arranged to bring pets to the hotel
They also thoughtfully prepared water bowls and nests.
Great staff and great location
Very clean! ! Check out in seconds after an early flight, very good!"
"The Stay at crown plaza was one of the most amazing experience that we had after a long time ,
Me and my family stayed in the hotel at the Christmas time , there were activities for kids and the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay , the food and drinks were amazing and the shops in walking distance if you like to do shopping.
Highly recommend the crown plaza hotel for your next stay

"Amazing! By far the best hotel experience in Adelaide! The club lounge with food to graze on in the afternoon and breakfast in the morning. Beautiful Sauna and pool area. Honestly perfect! The staff are so helpful :)"
"Good location. Next to the main shopping area in the middle of the city. Travel to Adelaide airport in 15 mins by Uber. The room is clean. The staffs are friendly. Recommend to other travellers."
"Location: Just a stone's throw from Victoria Square, walking distance to several bus stops, 15 minutes walk to the Blue Road Mall, and walking distance from Chinatown, it is very convenient. The airport is also 20 minutes, but Amura is not big. Facilities: The two-story residence is basic, with a living room, dining table, open kitchen, an open-air yard and a garage. There are three bedrooms upstairs, two double beds and one single bed, two separate bathroom bathrooms, which are thoughtful enough. That is, every place must be opened when the air conditioner is to be turned on, and cannot be controlled separately. Service: When checking in, it was okay, it was wrong to check in the information, the next day we asked to check out, and later found out, the other is to clean the people a bit not very polite. Hygiene: The sheets feel a lot of soil. The sheets of the quilt are two sheets stacked together, and there is no seal. The quilt is not very clean. There are no screens in the windows, and when you open the window, you will inevitably fly into many mosquitoes. The kitchen utensils didn't feel like washing, and it was not very hygienic."
"Absolutely wonderful service! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and the room setup was fantastic. I had a room with a balcony and two single beds (even though travelling alone), but I was happy with it. The bed was comfortable and the location was great. There was coffee provided to guests in the foyer as well as in-room which was nice. I would definitely stay here again."
"The hotel apartment is very clean and quiet, the kitchenware is relatively full of one cutting board, washing machine dryer refrigerator. You can walk to the central business district in ten minutes."

GGuest UserThis is a beautiful Hotel in a fantastic location. It is truly superb however my experience with the staff was below par. I had to ask the cleaner not to talk incessantly and loudly outside my room at 8am in the morning. Breakfast was sloppily served and the breakfast buffet area was disjointed so people and plates are bumping, the omelette ordering system wasn't explained and the staff looked at me like I was stupid and causing them inconvenience. The pancake maker needs servicing. The CEO of the hotel was talking to his staff at 10:15 am which was 15 minutes before breakfast service stopped. I recognised him from his picture on the TV in the room saying how privileged the hotel was to have us as a guest, however he didn't smile at his guests or stop and say hello and ask perhaps how our experience was. He was aloof and disinterested and I think that is how his staff act too, eg the cleaner was not genuinely sorry for causing the early morning noise, nor was the reception staff truly respectful when they allowed a one hour room use extension but forgot to apply the extra time to the key lock so I was locked out and had to come down 8 floors to rectify get access to the room. The hotel has an offer that if you do not get your room serviced on a 2 night stay then a $10 food voucher applies. Well, that exercise turned out to be like stealing gold. I was eligible for $20 as I had books two rooms but staff were really reluctant to acknowledge this offer. It's a great idea as it saves them costs to launder sheets and towels and also saves costs to clean the room and replenish toiletries. I don't know why they appeared so reluctant to honor it. Except for staff and customer service this hotel would receive a five star rating from me but now only a three and a half.
TTsangMabelLove this place!! Definitely will return many many times!!
The only small downside was the cigarette smell from the street. My ground-floor room was next to a rubbish bin. With the window open at night (since my roommate preferred fresh air), the smoke woke me up. However, this was just a minor issue in an otherwise fantastic stay!

RRebeccaNo car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the “buffet” breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldn’t see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didn’t work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The “desk” was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff don’t even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable.
I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. The staff were nice though which was a nice change

GGuest UserWe didn't realise the hotel was in the middle of the night club district. We were to stay 3 nights, from Th to Sat night. All was quiet on the Th night. On Friday night the night club music, particularly the repetitive bass sound was horrific and continued till 4am. Not conducive to a good night sleep. On Sat we got back to the hotel in the evening and the nightclub music was thumping again. We checked out of the hotel as we couldn't bear another night of no sleep. I'd suggest if booking here to ask for a room that isn't adjacent to the clubs!

GGuest UserThe hotel was pleasant, clean, and easy to get to. The location is close to many destinations in and around Adelaide, including the airport and a reasonable shopping centre with cafes and major retailers within a 1.5km walk. There was plenty of parking in good sized spaces.
I booked a basic, single room and got exactly what I expected. It was basic but clean and had a fridge, kettle, and single bed. There was a small armchair but no table although the kettle/fridge cupboard had a pull out tray which I could have used but this was a little dirty so I just sat on the bed to eat.
They have a bistro which looked good (25% discount for house guests with dine in or delivery to your room) and offered regular pub menu options but I ended up walking a couple hundred metres down the road to the local takeaway shops for some Thai takeaway.
The only complaints I really have are regarding noise, that the walls are quite thin and you could hear the other rooms' doors closing very loudly as people came and went. The next door neighbour listened to their TV at full volume until about 1:30am (I was due for a 6am start and this didn't help!).... Not the hotel's fault, just them being a selfish douchebag. The bar fridge rattled away fairly constantly but I just turned it off until the morning.
The worst problem were the pillows though. They were like bricks; thin and extremely hard. I ended up putting the decorative cushion inside a pillow case and using that just to be able to have some padding.
I drove only a few minutes around the corner to the famous Cafe de Villi's for breakfast before continuing on my way.
All said and done, I would stay here again as it is very budget friendly yet so close to everything. But I will bring my own pillow.... and earplugs just in case!
YYuweichaodageThe price is not expensive, you can cook, and the transportation is convenient. I will come again next time. I recommend it, but the front desk can’t speak Chinese, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

TTracy McCourtI have stay at the Links hotel quite often without any issues, but this time was different. I booked through a booking website for 2 adults and 3 children, for 2 nights. First night was ok, came back 2nd day after going out for a while, aircon had been turned off, cleaners came in when we asked them not to, made 2 beds and left the double bed, didn’t clean anything at all and only left 2 towels.
When I questioned the receptionist she said I only booked for 2 people for the 2nd night. And she was quite rude , yet I had confirmation on my phone otherwise. The booking company sent thru only 2 people for 2nd night. They got it wrong and I had no apology from her or any explanation of why the room was “cleaned “ like that . I’m not happy about it and doubt I’ll stay there again! 😡
NNazri_TahirI think this is quite an old hotel located at the central of adelaide. I love the location because it is just right beside the tram station. Behind this hotel has a lot of shops and restaurants. For halal option you can find some arabic restaurant or indian vegetarian cuisine along the road behind this hotel. The room that I booked included breakfast for 2. The breakfast is just simple but i am impressed because this is the first hotel that provide takeaway for those traveller that need on-the-go meal. Staff was really helpful and friendly. I noticed many elderly stayed at this hotel during our stay. It is really relaxing ambiance i already fall in love with Adelaide and this hotel. However please be reminded it is an old hotel ao some of the ammenities might not functioning well. My aircond was not so cold so they provided us with standing fan. And the shower door was broken but the fixed it immediately. Other than that everything was good. Definitely will stay again. P/s : Hotels in Adelaide are more expensive that Melbourne hehe.
