The Stay at crown plaza was one of the most amazing experience that we had after a long time , Me and my family stayed in the hotel at the Christmas time , there were activities for kids and the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay , the food and drinks were amazing and the shops in walking distance if you like to do shopping. Noise, noise noise.... I decided to try it out instead of staying in North Adelaide. I asked for a quiet room and was given a 6th floor room directly facing the big intersection at Elder Rd. Even though double glazed, the huge wall of glass did little to dampen the 24 hour barrage of truck, bus, motorcycle and hoon car noise from the busy intersection. I tried to swap to an inner atrium facing room and found they are just as noisy with noise from the downstairs bar. Doors to rooms have no door seals and the badly adjusted door closers slam them shut. I hardly slept and will not be returning.

I think this is quite an old hotel located at the central of adelaide. I love the location because it is just right beside the tram station. Behind this hotel has a lot of shops and restaurants. For halal option you can find some arabic restaurant or indian vegetarian cuisine along the road behind this hotel. The room that I booked included breakfast for 2. The breakfast is just simple but i am impressed because this is the first hotel that provide takeaway for those traveller that need on-the-go meal. Staff was really helpful and friendly. I noticed many elderly stayed at this hotel during our stay. It is really relaxing ambiance i already fall in love with Adelaide and this hotel. However please be reminded it is an old hotel ao some of the ammenities might not functioning well. My aircond was not so cold so they provided us with standing fan. And the shower door was broken but the fixed it immediately. Other than that everything was good. Definitely will stay again. P/s : Hotels in Adelaide are more expensive that Melbourne hehe.

It was a wonderful experience at Stamford Plaza - the hotel's close proximity to various hotspots in the city as well as ease of public transport access ensured a fun-filled weekend in Adelaide city. The room was equipped with all the required amenities, and the hotel staff was kind and courteous with any additional needs. There is scope for improvement in the room infrastructure to bring it up-to-date to its current pricing standards. An overall amazing experience, and would recommend to anybody looking for a great stay in the city!

My room have problem with toilet issues, when i turn on shower and use toilet got bad smell , i was arrived late and tired after long fly . So i did not have chance to ask for change different room . No free bottle of water for customers like normal hotel always give customers. I was surprised and disgusting about that when i paid expensive for Room . I traveled alot and stayed alot hotel with no star and 5 star. I never have that situation. Only the old man door can have my 5star with his service. He was so nice and friendly. And i got surcharge after i left Adelaide. When i did checkout , the staff checked and didn’t tell me about surcharge. When i fly to another city i got notification about surcharged. Im still waiting for response from Hotel .

We only stayed overnight here and the Hilton met all our needs for this perfectly. We had a fast trip back and forth to the airport. The room, bed, shower, Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries were all great. Service at the reception desk was excellent. I wished we had another couple of days to explore Adelaide, as I'm sure we would have enjoyed ourselves. We'd definitely choose this hotel again. We saw construction close to the hotel but we did not hear a thing and slept well.

The hotel is located on a side road which is easily missed.We had to take another turn to locate it. Car parking is at a public location just down the road. The hotel which is fairly new is well equipped and conveniently located within walking distance of Rundle Mall and the train station. The only complaint I have is that the water draining from the shower area may overflow into the toilet area and entrance to the toilet. Apart from this minor issue,the hotel is excellent in most aspects. The staff are responsive and pleasant. As a side note,Club 129 down the alley and opposite the train station,serves a decent meal with promotions throughout the week.
