After reading the reviews I was,nt sure about this place, been here 7 days nothing to complain about, friendly staff, good resturant, nice size pool plenty 3sun loungers, rooms are clean ,2 hob cooker, kettle, coffee machine, toaster plenty of pots n pans enough cutlery plates etc for a family of 4,comftable beds, balcony with great views, only downside is there is alot of young people use this hotel as its close to all the bars n clubs so the early hours can be abit noisy but hey I was young once so I cannot complain,as in some of the reviews I have not seen a single cockroach and no ants I think some peeps just like to complain but I would recommend this place value for money even talking about returning next year

We stayed in apartment 14a. Ground floor studio apartment. No air con, no fans, very dated, patio doors barely locked. When cleaners had been in, the patio door wasn't closed properly by them. When arrived door was half open. Mid stay, when we were asleep, about 5am we woke up to a stranger in our room. We believe they entered through the patio door, and we saw them run out of the front door and out of a gate of the complex. They knew where to go. They stole 2 mobile phones, a tablet, money, ear buds, a passport and a rucksack with some pool things in. Reception and security staff were apologetic, but didn't offer to investigate or check any CCTV footage. We had to ask to move to another apartment, they did offer us half board. Apartment we were put in was just as dated. Having tried the breakfast, which was average at best, we ended up moving to a hotel instead. Even when we checked out early, no reason was asked why or any refund offered. I've read other people in recent months have had things stolen from these apartments. Not a safe place at all sadly.

The photos they show are NOT like that in real life, its not pretty hotel rooms they dont look like that at all. The showers are dirty, floors are dirty. Bed's are hard as a rock, horrible view, balcony is dirty. Its bugs everywhere and spiders. You get what you pay for…… not recomended👍

We chose PdS for location and price mainly and on arrival we were so disappointed with our room which was dated faded and just made our hearts sink. So far away from reception and loads of steps HOWEVER……I politely asked for something closer to the pool, the main hotel and they moved us next morning to the loveliest apartment (H41) , even moving our cases for us. Staff were amazing- special shoutouts to Manuel who opened the gate for us every night when we came in late, Herman who was so kind at reception and the lovely Johnathan- lifeguard, case carrier and all round great guy. We will 100% be back here, location was great for beach, restaurants, supermarket two minutes away with our discount card! Thanks everyone

After reading some of the reviews I was dreading how bad it would be & was already looking at other hotels incase I had to move! It was much better than expected & good if you are happy with basic & dated. Large group of us stayed end Oct/Nov for a week with 7 rooms spread out around the complex. Not one room was cockroach/bug infested! Most of us experienced a couple of small cockroaches in the rooms but they weren’t big enough to stress me out (I am petrified of them!). A few tiny ants if we left any crumbs etc in kitchen but just clean up & put rubbish in bin! Rooms are very dated & a bit rough around the edges (see pics), but it’s all very clean. Towels change every 2 days & sheets changed once during the week. Our patio door had a security chain & a bolt so it was secure. Security guards do regular walk around during the night. I didn’t like the slatted windows in bathroom & above door but we just closed them when we got there. I did tape up a vent near the bed to stop me stressing about bugs getting in!!! Beds comfy but you may want to ask for extra pillow. No a/c but you can hire a fan.you can also get a safe for €15 (1 week) plus €10 deposit. Bathroom is ok, shower powerful but in middle of bath so not much room. The room has everything you expect but is just dated. Everywhere was very clean. All staff were friendly & helpful. Only person not particularly helpful & I found him quite rude, was life guard. Some people skills may help !! Breakfast was again basic but usual cooked, fruit, breads, cereals, meat & cheese options. Good hot drinks machine &plenty of juice. The pool is clean & depth clearly marked. There is also a small toddler pool. A good space for sunbeds but you can’t get them until 9am & if you leave it unattended for more than an hour, your towels will be removed. There was a little bit of sunbed wars but we were a huge group! Pool Bar is open in daytime & serves good snacks, closes at 5pm though. Would have been good to have it open later as there was nowhere in hotel to go for a beer before heading out. 2 good supermarkets, tourist shop, excellent Indian & a Chinese restaurant within 2 mins walk. Beach is less than 10 min walk away, sunbeds €6 each with parasol. It does get busy though & we couldn’t get beds one day (1030 am) but bought blanket & led on sand. Sea was a bit rough when we were there but not too cold! Plenty of bars, restaurants, shops within 10mins. Recommend Greek Corner, The Castle & the Indian next to hotel. Costa Adeja is a 20 min walk - calmer sea, inflatables for kids. Los Cristianos 10 min taxi. Airport was 25 min taxi €35 Overall, clean, dated & basic but definitely ok as a base for a week.

What a dive,!! I honestly have been struggling since we returned to find the words to rate this place. I've learnt from my mistake. I could kick myself for not paying attention to the bad reviews. 1st day the taps fell from the bath causing it to flood,to which I slipped backwards hitting my head on the bath and causing bruises to my back.cock roaches galore, a bloody lizard in my luggage 😂 **** central, patio door well 😂 I had to use both arms to pull it open. single beds. We basically just slept here and was up and out early doors. I can't even say the staff are nice , security guard needs a personality transplant . Honestly spend a bit more people ,

I will start off with the bad and end it positively, this place is definitely in need of some TLC and its a good job the lifeguard wasn't needed as he was way to busy doing other things. We came here from the 12th-19th October, and knew we weren't expecting 4-5 star but we have been so many places before where we have been pleasantly shocked etc. We entered the room which seemed to be a time warp to the 1970's, the newest thing in the room was the TV. The bathroom always had the drain smell on it, with flies coming out of the sink plug hole, and the windows were slates of glass which you could usually shut, but ours were rusty and were unable to close, so people from the hotel across the street could see you shower if they spotted it. The force of the shower was good but we had to angle ourselves in the shower to not be seen. The mattresses were very comfortable and the pillows, but the bed frames were old, and needed replacing, where bits of it were coming apart. The balcony was clean and we had no problems with any cockroaches etc. The kitchen again was dated - but had all the utensils, cups & glasses you need. Because of the breeze coming through the patio, we did not need a fan but we would not pay 20 euros - 10 deposit and 10 to give to them, as the fans were also very small. Now to the hotel area, which had two pools, the pool closest to us in our section of hotel, we did not visit, toilets for that pool were disgusting and no lifeguard there at all and it seems people who lived in the apartments used that pool. The pool area of the main hotel complex was clean but tiles needed replacing. For the first couple of days the lifeguard was very good, helping kids with floats, helping people with moving parasols and making sure the pool was clean and tidy, the last 3 days, he would of been better on the telephones for the hotel, as he was on his phone constantly, or going to the bar to speak to other staff. He was only interested if you were a female when he gawped at them or offered to take photos for them at the pool. Now to the good points - It is a good walking distance to the restaurants/bars and has a supermarket close by which was very cheap. The staff other than that one lifeguard were excellent, the pool bar staff and reception were fantastic and accommodating, we asked for extra pillows and they gave us some, helped with booking a taxi and also recommendations for food. The Pool Bar had excellent choice of drinks and food. the food was very nice for lunches and drinks were cheap. I also did like that at the pool, they provided tables. The staff at reception were very helpful and were happy to help, as we had seen previous comments we were worried about booking our taxi but all the staff knew about it and was really good. I did see previous reviews about bed changing, towels etc, we had no problem with it at all, they replaced everything after every two days and rooms were cleaned. There was no complaints there.
