I booked this very last minute when we were running late on our roadtrip and didn't want to drive further in the dark. I was so pleasantly surprised with this beautiful place and wished we'd planned it into our trip to enjoy it a while longer instead of just an overnight stay. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and spacious. We hope to be back one day to enjoy this space a bit more and visit Addo.

Our family stayed at Gerald’s Gift recently. Located in Addo, aprrox 80 min from Port Elizabeth. Currently there are a lot of roadworks making the trip longer than before. Good secure accomodation. Very spacious rooms. The units we had did not have kitchen facilities, not even a fridge. There is an onsite restaurant, with very nice homely meals. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay!

So sad we only had one night at Gerald's Gift - it was a lovely place to stay. A very well appointed room, fantastic bath and very comfortable bed with quality linen. Lovely 'Eatery' that was intimate as well as being family friendly, with delicious food served by a lovely friendly waiter. Also a fantastic guest lounge with complementary sherry and beautiful tasteful and classic furniture, All this totally hidden from the dusty road by trees and secure electronic gates - then you find yourself in this wonderful oasis of beautifully tended grounds and gardens. A very calm and tranquil place. We'd love to have been able to stay longer.

A besutifull B&B with fine rooms. A swimmingpool with relax area and a area to stroll around. Lovely quiet environment and the staff is very kind and helpfull. It is located about 15km from Addo, so a short trip to the elephant resort. The breakfast is complete and diner is great as well. We would certainly come back on our next trip to South Africa.

Perhaps a little further away than I had imagined from Addo National Park but once there I could quite happily have stayed there in preference to a trip to the park. a pleasure not to have to cater because the restaurant was right there and served lovely breakfast and superb suppers. The use of a fridge in the main house was a must and very useful. Loved the gardens, pool and tranquility.

They have a big farm for citrus and oranges. A separate eatery for breakfast dinner. Silikon at sink should renewed.
