A jewel in the middle nowhere. Despite it's rural setting, there is access to all essential services, petrol, a shop, laundry, restuarants. And just down the road from Addo. The welcome was enthusiastally friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for Lisa and the team. The accomodation was first class.The views spectacular. Highly recommended.

Booked for one night and we so thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Tranquil, peaceful and the cottages were so comfortable. Added bonus of Riverfront Restaurant a short walk away for a superb evening meal. Lisa was our host and she made us feel most welcome. Going to Add, well why not stay at River Front Estate and have a great time.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch indoors, as was a cold day, but there is also seating outdoors. The menu is limited and it takes a while for the food to arrive, but it does say on the menu that the food can take a while to prepare. However, when is arrived it was very good and worth the wait. We particularly enjoyed the vegetables, as most restaurants only offer salads with meals. The spinach was particularly yummy!

We slept one night here between the garden road and Addo (booking on airbnb) It was great, the owner is adorable and gave us very good advice on things to do in the region The accommodations are great and clean Warm welcome And 10 minutes from the park entrance
