Excellent place to stay for business or leisure. The hotel service is second to none, the staff are amazingly friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel facility and the rooms are well looked after and very clean, although a bit dated but functional. The bar is a must see if you are a beer lover with a German beer brewery in display served with reasonable selection of food such as grilled/roosted chicken to complement the beer; restaurant area is well set up and has seat by the balcony. Good central location, easy access to various restaurants, bars, the airport and taxi links to visit what Addis offers.

No a/c or heating, but plain and simple rooms that are clean and functional in this hotel good for Bole airport. I was put up here for an overnight by Ethiopian and was impressed with the friendly and cheerful staff, lunch, dinner, breakfast and two shuttles, all working perfectly.

I pitch up at lunch time to find the place pretty much deserted except for a handful of customers, maybe 5/6. I am the only foreignerso please don't tell me they didnt notice me. I go to a table and wait, and wait and wait. A wait staff came to clear the table of empty/dirty glasses right next to mine but didn't say a word. I waited 20 minutes and nobody came so I went out and decided to try my luck elsewhere. What it is like when busy I shudder to think but on the other given their attitude I don't suppose it is ever busy.
