I can't rate the appearance of this establishment, as I haven't set foot there. When I made my reservation, I tried several times to contact the establishment via the number on their page, but no one answered and no email was available to reach them. I insisted on calling to communicate my arrival time and organize the airport shuttle included in the services, but I received no response. Since the reservation was made and paid, no contact has been initiated from them, not even a confirmation message. When I arrived at the airport, I didn't know where to go. Fortunately, the airline had reserved a room for me and organized my transfer. And of course no refund possible.

Great location and great value. The rooms are perfect and the staff is amazing. They gladly helped us with our requests. ATMs are just next the front door, so no need to move from the hotel to withdraw the money. I'll definitely come back here next time in Addis Ababa

The conditions of the rooms have really gone down. Nice place to stay, nice food and affordable price 5 minutes drive to airport. I like Caravan and its location, but they need to invest in new mattresses. Room was fine, had everything we needed. Bedside lamp wasn’t working though.

I stayed with this property in December, 2023. In years of travel to Ethiopia, I've rarely had a poor experience. The room had numerous cockroaches in the bathroom and bedroom. The bathtub was not connected to the floor, and there was consistently no water pressure and no hot water. Additionally, at check out, I was told by the staff of the hotel that I had never paid for my stay. I had paid online, but according to the staff, that was only a 'booking fee.' Coincidentally, the charge they said I owed at checkout was the same as the nightly rate I had already paid for online. I had to catch a flight, and did not have time to dispute with the staff, but this was clearly a scam.

Poor staffing. Poor management. They send their guards to your roomfor any services. No bellboys. No waiters. Unethical receptionists!!! They don't know how to treat customers. Terrible place to stay. Please do not come to here specially with your wife and kids. They give you a heart attack.

Keep clear. This is probably the worst of 100s of hotels I’ve ever stayed at in a range of countries and stars. Dirty. Awful service. Cockroaches in the bed & on my toothbrush. Light fittings dont work. Food is bland & greasy. Won’t go on. Just find something else

This run down place does not even deserve a single star. I paid for 7 nights and left the hotel after 1 single night not even asking for a refund! The dirtiest, most derelict hotel i've ever been to in Addis Ababa. I almost electrocuted myself when i tried to take a bath. I opened the water taps and water started bursting from every hole and the floor was flooded in a few seconds. Closed the taps when i realized the water had already inundated the bedroom. Tried to get out the tab and DANGER realized that a plugged electricity socket was literally at floor level and water almost reached it ! I waited for the water to drain, throw 2 towels on the floor and jump out of the bathroom stepping on those dry towels. I left the hotel immediately and even thought of calling the police. The hotel is a big scam.

Avoid! I’ve written 60+ reviews and this is my first bad one. Cockroaches in the bed and my toothbrush. A single teabag (no milk). Wake up calls don’t come & nearly missed plane. Half my laundry lost and told I must make arrangements to mail it back. Never answer communications. There are much better places in Addis.
