Sheraton Addis, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Addis Ababa

I had an exceptional experience during my stay at the hotel, thanks to the wonderful team members from the receptionist to the housekeeping staff. Zelalem, who assisted with my reservation, was outstanding and displayed exceptional professionalism. As a Marriott Platinum member, I was treated like royalty, particularly with access to the exclusive lounge where I could unwind and enjoy snacks while waiting for my room. Mr. Wosen from the housekeeping team also deserves special recognition for his outstanding service. He consistently anticipated my needs and ensured I had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The breakfast provided as part of my reservation was top-notch, offering a diverse selection of delicious options. The attentive team was always on hand to cater to my needs and ensure I was well looked after. I was impressed by the respect and valued treatment I received from the security guards and elevator staff throughout my stay. Whenever I visit Addis, I always opt for Skylight Hotel, which I would confidently rate a perfect 10 out of 10 for maintaining my loyalty benefits and providing exceptional service.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property - the views from the room were incredible, and the staff was superb! Special thanks to Afework, Sileshi, Sefiw, and Betleham for the wonderful experience at the lounge, Samuel and Meron from 3rd floor housekeeping for making sure I had everything I needed throughout the stay, Jemal, Yoseph, Kelem, and Yared from the first floor for their excellent service, and Ruhama and Mahlet at the reception for a super smooth check-in and check-out experience! Thank you Sheraton Addis team for a truly phenomenal stay!

Mahlet Gezahegn, the front desk representative, deserves commendation from management. I forgot to request a rollaway bed, and although the situation was quite complicated, she went above and beyond to turn my stress into a happy smile. It's people like Mahlet who leave a lasting impression. I will share this story with numerous other travelers, as her exceptional assistance deserves to be rewarded and celebrated. Having stayed at hundreds of Marriott properties, her service stands out in my memory. I will always choose this hotel whenever I'm in Ethiopia. Thank you, Marriott, and thank you, Mahlet! This hotel is the nicest in the area and its a one-step shop and you will be happy to have stayed here. All of staff is amazing and have friendly smiles. But what Mahlet did stood out. And also, a young gentleman by the name King from the executive lounge - deserves to be commended too. You can tell he enjoys what he does and wants happy guest. So please acknowledge them both!!!

The hotel is beautiful, with perfectly manicured grounds, a large lobby, fountains, gardens, and a pool. However, the hotel is a special event factory. Business meetings and weddings are constant. The special events are given precedence and they close the pool and block access to the gym as necessary to facilitate banquets. After a long day of work, all I wanted to do was relax and go to sleep. However, I couldn’t work out or swim, or even sleep, because the noise from the music kept me up until 2:30am on a Sunday night. On the night I arrived from the airport, it took me an hour to access the hotel compound from the street because the parking lot had filled up with a wedding, and hotel security wouldn't admit any more cars - even for drop-off - until cars left. The on-site restaurants were good, but expensive. The breakfast was extensive, and the staff was very attentive to my needs and special requests

Had a great stay at the property . Some yummy cookies awaited me upon check in . The room service was quick and nice . Loved the breakfast options especially the live juice counters ! Got to meet Chef Mohan who invited me to the Indian restaurant ( which I couldn’t go ) . Loved the evening drinks service at the club lounge . Overall great stay

A central place to stay in Addis with some luxury and high-end services. The Sheraton was pretty fancy for Addis when built. There are others in its class now but it holds its own. This is partly because the location is excellent, partly because it has been well-maintained. There is a good choice of restaurants - not adventuresome but good quality. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The grounds are pleasant though not expansive. There is a gym with basic equipment. I was there for a board meeting which received decent support, but there was a lack of medium-sized rooms. We ended up too often with 15 people in a room for 500.

My family and I just spent 6 weeks at the Sheraton Hotel in Addis. We've been there several times but this was the longest stay yet. Besides the fact that the hotel is beautiful and the nicest in town... The team here is what makes the experience great. Nebiyu the reception manager assisted me with my needs for my reservation a month prior to my arrival as well as throughout our stay constantly checking on us and assisting with little things we needed. As a business owner I realize how difficult it is to create a great culture like the one the employees share at the Sheraton... This trip I had the opportunity to meet Antony, the general manager of the hotel and now I realize this culture starts at the top. Great guy who leads by example and sets the standard for his team. Lastly, besides the amazing team at Sheraton I'm going to miss the fresh squeezed cariety of juices they have every morning for breakfast! Thanks for a great trip guys!
