Whilst the stay was ok, Housekeeping came in on two separate days, even though it was explicitly stated (by calling out) that housekeeping was not required. However, when housekeeping was needed and sign was placed on the doorhandle, there was no housekeeping provided.
Overall facilities were OK but signage was quite small and was not friendly for those that were arriving late at night.

從悉尼開車到Newcastle的Mercure Charlestown酒店2小時左右。到酒店前台Check in辦理入住手續時不到下午1點，但前台小姐姐非常熱情馬上給辦理了入住手續。
我們訂的是一張雙人床+一張單人床的房間，房間很乾凈。房間的窗户朝向前院，院外是條大馬路，但在房間內開差窗户也聽不到噪音，非常安靜。
房間每天都有人打掃，床鋪很乾靜。
酒店餐廳:我們住了3天兩晚，早餐都在他家吃的，$27/人，服務員非常熱情，特意問我們要不要煮雞蛋或煎荷包蛋（不同於西人用黃油炒蛋）。早餐不像5星級酒店樣式那樣多，但我們的2次早餐吃的很滿意，樣式足夠我們的選擇。
晚餐我們第1晚在外吃的，第2晚在他家餐廳吃的。從餐前菜+正菜+甜點，每條菜做的都非常精緻。本人平時不愛照相，但看到餐前菜時還是沒忍住照了一張。
服務人員非常禮貌，上菜後總會問一下我們滿意否。
游泳池:之所以選此酒店，也是看中他家有室外泳池。入住後看説明晚6點後就不能遊了，就去問前台。前台告之，沒有時間限制，可以隨時遊，真是太好啦。
泳池不大，從淺到深變化有些快，但我們會游泳，所以沒關係。如有家庭帶不會游泳小朋友玩，最好帶上救生圈。
這個月份，晚5點至7點，水温暖和，日照又不強，非常推薦。
注，早餐如不包在預訂中，和晚餐都需要在前台預訂一下。
他家停車場免費，也是我預訂他家的另一原因。停車場分前後院兩個，我的房間窗户朝前，所以把車停前院了。
