"The stay is comfortable, but the requests through the reception staff and the restaurant are not notified to each other by special requests .. In the sense that if the lips change and you were asking for a service from before him you must return the request and this is annoying .. some rooms the air conditioning sound is very high and needs maintenance .. but overall the stay is very good"
"The hotel service is good. The hygiene is also ok. The road section is relatively ok. It is convenient to travel. It is also convenient to eat around. It is a good place for people who are on business trips."
"A review in 2 parts:
The hotel staff themselves are nice, very attentive etc and the service overall is good.
The downside is the travel agency booking thing.. I booked a transport to a specific area and they just left me halfway..
I’ve still kept the review positive because the hotel itself is not the owner of the travel agency but rather they rent the space. BUT do NOT use that travel agency group."
"Hello , i vote for this hotel it is always improving , also I would like to thank the whole team starting from the professional front office gentleman for the good room , least but not last I would very much like to greet and thank MR. NABEL THE F&B manager & the full rooftop team ASHRAF , MOHAMED & the shisha man MENA all are perfect in hospitality , thank you very much ."
"Walking distance to the Nile and not too far from the Egyptian Museum. The hotel is dated. I worried about the electrical safety of some of the appliances. The lamp wires had been damaged and taped back together. The fridge in the room was very dirty. The staff are friendly."
"I am convinced back in the 80's, this hotel was considered to be the height of luxury. In 2025, most people would disagree. It's a good 45-minute walk to the main centre whilst other similar classes of hotels like Semiramis were much closer. Staff were polite, but the service was poor. The waiting time at checkin exceeded 40 minutes. It was noticeable that there were more staff on the other side of the counter, apologiesing to customers than actual check staff. The rooms were clean, but the design was old-fashioned. Large room but very small toilet lacking space to put things out. The hotel has two in-house restaurants, both were grossly overpriced, and the food was unremarkable. The gym was huge and well equipped, but I failed to understand why anyone wanted to stay in a hotel for a serious workout. The things that mattered, such as jukuzi and sauna, were tiny and dirty. The outdoor pool was more like a paddle pool. Overall, there are much better hotels available at a similar price point."

"I was greeted by a swift early check-in by front desk accommodating staff (I do particularly remember Michael) and to my most-pleasant surprise I thought my room was five-star (go for the superior room, well worth it; I have no experience with standard rooms). Housekeeping lady (Alla) is very friendly and accommodating and will do a fantastic thorough job. Thank you. High-floor pool is very nice and clean (can see the Nile river). Buffet breakfast was varied, tasty and more than satisfying. If wnd when in Cairo, I will not hesitate to book this hotel again (and will not try to find a ”better hotel”)."
"Hostel on the edge of the Nile River, lying in bed can feel the flow of the Nile River. Upstairs is the restaurant, but the breakfast provided is very general Egyptian bread + fried eggs + fried Doonut.
Although it is a single room, the bed is a king size bed. Next to the Nile River, next to the boating club, so it is a bit noisy sooner or later.
Opposite the hotel is the Russian embassy, with soldiers standing guard. Nearby is the Shearton Hotel, and across the river is the Sofitel Hotel, so it is safe. The dawn of the sunrise on Nile can directly shoot the room. If you go out during the day and come back late, this is a good choice.
The hotel owner and the proprietress are very warm and friendly; but the waiter in the restaurant is a bit careful. When eating, it is said that it is free water. At checkout, there is a service fee and VAT."
