The bathroom details need to be addressed, but the beds are clean. The staff is very good and friendly. The environment is safe, the location is okay, and it’s best to take a taxi when going out. Use Uber. The breakfast is also good.

A beautiful stay

The room was OK, not as old as expected. Check-in took a long time. One of the two single rooms was on the third floor and the other was on the fifth floor, which was not good either. The view from the breakfast room was OK. Two scones and fried eggs were provided for breakfast every day. I paid a deposit of $200 for the two rooms, which was said to be refunded to me after 14 days. There are many hotels to choose from nearby, including Four Seasons, Kempinski, and Novotel. This is the city center, so there is no need to stay near the pyramids. I had a meal on the boat by the river next to the hotel, which was not expensive. Prices in Egypt are very low.

The hotel has good security. You need to go through security check before entering. There are 2-3 security guards at each door. You need a room card to get on the elevator. The hotel is very beautiful. It looks like Europe inside and Syria outside. The breakfast buffet has many varieties and good service. I injured my finger in Cairo and asked the hotel front desk to deal with it. They had iodine cotton and band-aids, and then gave them a tip and confiscated it. The hotel has disposable slippers and two hair dryers, a refrigerator, and the air conditioning is sufficient. You need to ask them to send up the disposable toothbrush. The only drawback is that there is no supermarket near the hotel. The grocery store on the G floor of the hotel costs 150 Egyptian pounds (more than 20 RMB). I can't remember the water, but it's not cheap anyway. The hotel will send two bottles of water, but one bottle per person is not enough in a desert country. I think it would be better if the hotel launched unlimited self-service mineral water like Japan, put a refrigerator in the elevator room, and swipe the room card to get water.

It is relatively new, the rooms and bathrooms are very good, the facilities are much better than Mina Palace, and the room service is also very good.

The road conditions in Egypt are very poor, and the Google navigation display is also inaccurate. I navigated to the back door of the hotel. The internal environment of the hotel is okay. The Nile River is next to it. The service at the front desk is terrible. The man in the parking lot is nice. The people at the front desk want to trick you because you are Chinese. Also, the parking fee is inconsistent with what Ctrip marked.

The breakfast was very good and the service was good. But the room is old and the sofa is old. It feels like a four-star hotel in China. Unfortunately, after I left, I found that I had slept in a forgotten hotel. I called and said they didn't find anything. It feels like staying in a hotel of the same star rating in Egypt. If you forget to take something, just throw it away and don't expect to get it back. I feel very sorry. 

Hotels in Cairo have always been relatively expensive, and the Sheraton is in a prime location on the Nile River, and the price is not particularly high. Although the decoration is early, but the maintenance is okay. Overall, it is worth recommending.
