Breakfast and dinner are good hot springs. There are many choices. You can book the tickets for Starry Sky Land at the counter with pick-up and drop-off. It is a 5-minute walk from the bus station. If the hotel has free pick-up and drop-off, the hotel will send it to the bus stop on the return trip. The counter and the driver are very friendly. Good to help us determine the location of the stop sign again and again. Although the hotel staff had poor English and communication difficulties, but they were very enthusiastic, because there were not many shuttle buses in the countryside and the routes were complicated. The transfer station outside, directly sent us to the expressway transfer station 5km away. It is so considerate. Although the hotel is an old brand, the environmental sanitation is well maintained. I was told that Hirugami Onsen is the best place to stay in Achi Village, where you can see the best starry sky in Japan. Since I was traveling alone, I searched for a single-use accommodation on the internet and found that it was reasonably priced and also included a tour to enjoy the starry sky, so I applied. The inn was larger than I expected and had a spectacular garden surrounded by hallways and entrances. Everything from the receptionist to the employees I passed by made me feel very comfortable. You can see that they are well-educated. Meals are served in semi-private rooms, so you can enjoy local ingredients at your leisure.

The location is accessible from the Kanto region to the central road Iida Yamamoto IC and from the Nagoya area to the sonohara IC in １０ minutes. It was late １１, so I thought of safety and installed a snow tire and visited. The hotel lends mat and cold clothes for starry sky observation for a fee. I decided to look forward to the next starry sky because it was a thick cloud that gradually saw the moon from the open-air bath. The room and hot springs were clean. The next morning, the windshield was frost, so I parked the car in the direction of Asahi. The hotel's accommodation plan allows you to book a mountain hut-like light use, a luxurious meal plan and additional dishes in advance.

First time staying here for one night. I don't like hot water, but the temperature of the open-air bath was just right. It was good hot water. (3) Feeling clean The room smelled of rush and was very clean. I didn't mind dust at all. There was only one small caterpillar, but it can't be helped because it's a place full of nature. It was just the right size and comfortable for two people to use. (4) Smoking rooms Recently, there are many non-smoking rooms at hot spring inns, but I was very grateful that there were smoking rooms. It is no exaggeration to say that this is the number one requirement when choosing an accommodation facility. The accommodation is also smoker friendly. ■ Points I noticed (1) Response of foreign staff Just before the date of stay, I received a confirmation call from the accommodation facility. I called back around 19:00, but a man who seemed to be a foreigner answered the phone with a little broken words. I don't know, so I was told to call again after 8 o'clock tomorrow, and there was no further word (listen to my name and contact information, tell me that there was a call, I will contact you again tomorrow, etc.). bottom. At this time, I contacted him again the next day and the conversation ended. Then, the morning of the next day of our stay. I had a question about the morning market and stopped by the front desk, but unfortunately the staff was not there. After waiting for a while, a blunt man with no smile came from the store. From the tone of his voice, I knew immediately that he was the same person who answered the phone call. It's not at an unpleasant level, but the telephone and front desk are the face of the hotel, so I felt that the impression would be better if they responded with a little more smile. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. It is one of the accommodation facilities that I would definitely like to repeat again. In addition, compared to other accommodation facilities in the same hot spring, it is a little farther to the morning market, but I think it is just right for a walk. I was wearing clogs, so it took about 15 minutes one way. You can also go in your yukata.

From Iida, we headed south on National Route 153, and the road on the Nagano Prefecture side was much easier to drive than I expected. I stayed on November 23rd, and the autumn leaves were in full bloom. I chose the accommodation based on the hot water with a pH of 9.9, but having dinner at the hearth table was more satisfying than I expected! I feel like I've never eaten wild wild fish with such fluffy flesh in my life, and even though the wild boar hotpot had a not too strong miso flavor, it didn't have any odor or strong taste at all, and it was a truly honest game game. Horse sashimi was also cool. I was able to enjoy almost the entire overnight dried sweetfish that was served for breakfast in another room. I went to the bath from the third floor, and the feel of the hot water was close to what I expected. The men's open-air bath is accessed from the cold spring bath, which is one flight of stairs from Fudo Myoo, and then down another flight of stairs, so be careful of your step and the cold. Fudo Falls could be viewed from the top. The room was an ordinary one as it was a ``choice plan'', but I think the air conditioner was in the comfortable category. The screen on the TV, which doesn't show BS, was a little small, so it was a little hard to see the ``Doha Delights'' that I watched while snuggled under the covers. I will never forget the beauty of the starry sky when I woke up early!

Lovely staff, polite, caring and gracious. We stayed in a Japanese style room. The room and view was great, however the bathroom was small in our view. Onsen was clean and well kept, both public and private rooms. Food was authentic to the region and beautifully presented. Although the reception area looked a little tired this was overcome by the warm welcome. Unfortunately the bedding on the futons did not match which did detract from the overall impression. Overall a memorable experience.
