Tassos Apartments

First time staying at Tassos although have used their pool (with consent) in previous years. Good points Location Pool Pool bar menu now has more choices Negatives Don't trust the English lady who sometimes manages reception. 3 times she tried to charge my folks 12 euros for the safe key when it was a free service. She also left several notes asking for them to pay the bed tax, even when it had been paid. She said it hadn't been paid to her and still needed paying! Spiros had taken the payment. Dated and tatty apartment, freezer compartment couldn't be used as broken handle. No mattress protectors on beds. Light fitting held together by tape I'd asked for 2 single beds upstairs but got a double. I had to clean before we unpacked as the bathroom cabinet was dirty and the floors, skirting were dusty with hair. Ants, lots and lots of ants in the kitchen area. I asked if they could provide a spray of trap but got no response so bought my own. The cleaning of the room by the cleaners seemed to consist of emptying the bins and leaving fresh towels. The bathroom sink and shower basin were not cleaned during our stay and neither was the kitchen. As it was peak season we weren't able to get a late checkout and they don't offer a dayroom or shower room, I think this could be a great addition.

Fantastic small complex, with a great pool. Always clean & well kept, staff & owners are very accommodating and the apartments are well situated to a 2 minute walk to the beach or a 5 minute walk to the main street...... the barman Andreas is a fantastic asset to the whole experience of bringing life & soul to the pool bar area and is great company for a chat... 5 ⭐️

Nice clean apartments although the one we had was dated and in need of a refurb. The pool area was nice but the pool could do with extra cleaning round the edges but I guess this is sun cream. Service and food very good, would go again if room was updated

Me & my partner had a lovely 2 week holiday in Greece.The family that run the apartments I cannot fault, they are friendly & helpful.We loved how close to the beach we were & close to restaurants & shops.We did have a couple of negatives while staying here, the apartment was lovely but a little dusty, especially in the kitchen, the smoke alarm had been removed, most of the apartments from what I could see had lovely garden views from the outside terrace, we had a car park.We didn’t use the outside area as cars were coming and going all the time, no privacy and view was cars parked right next to the wall of the apartment.Also every night there was a motorbike driving around which was noisy & annoying.Gardens are beautiful and I hate complaining about things but just wanted to give an honest review, these were just personal opinions but like I said the family who run these apartments are wonderful..🙂

Excellent location a few minutes walk from the sea, pebbly beach, small shop, and a whole host of beach side restaurants and bars. Very friendly staff who were always on hand to help if you needed anything. These are quite basic apartments, but comfortable. There could be a few more bits of equipment, e.g. a good bread knife, more glasses, cups etc., to make it more useful if you are self-catering. No soap, washing up liquid, did cloths etc are supplied. Our two bedroom apartment was in need of some sprucing up, and the kitchen was tiny, which would have made it very difficult to do any real cooking in it. Two of our party had a studio which was much nicer as it appeared to have been renovated recently. Aircon is extra, and the price appears to be negotiable depending on how many units in the apartment and how many nights you're staying. Cleaner empties bins daily, cleans every two days and change towels every two days if you want. Pool and bar area are very nice, though we spent most of our time at the beach. Supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk up on the main road, where there are more paces to eat and drink. Overall, basic but very comfortable, a very beautiful setting, and very friendly staff. Would recommend.

This was our second stay at Tassos. We were very lucky to be in one of the upgraded studios. It had a bedroom up a spiral staircase, and another bed downstairs. The studio was spotlessly clean, modern & finished to a high standard. The apartments are in a great location close to the beach & restaurants. Thank you Spiros, see you again .
