My experience with this hotel has been a nightmare. I very seldom write negative reviews. However, I don’t want other travelers to experience what I experienced. I have two issues with the hotel. First, an issue with an attempt to receive a refund. Second, the street on which the hotel is located. I booked the hotel for one week through *******. I was scheduled to stay January 5-12. I I stayed one night. I did not stay the remainder of the reservation due to a medical issue. I requested a refund. After many conversations with the property manager I was informed they could not provide a refund because ******* would not allow them to give a refund. I spoke with ******* and was informed it (*******) had no problems with my receiving a refund. Notwithstanding that, the property manager still refused to provide a refund. At that point I realized I was getting the run-around. In fairness to the hotel the cancellation policy was that cancellations made after January 4 would be subject to a property fee equal to 100% of the total amount paid for the reservation. However, most hotels will give a refund if there is a reasonable excuse for the cancellation. I felt my reason for leaving early was reasonable and valid. I was willing to pay for the night I stayed and would have been willing to pay for an additional night. While the hotel policy gave the hotel the right to refuse a refund I felt a hotel of goodwill would have offered a concession to assist with the dilemma I found myself in. However, this hotel decided to keep all of my money. My second issue is the street on which the hotel is located. The street is dirty, smelly, unattractive and dilapidated. I do not recommend this hotel.
