The location of the hotel is very accessible. It looks newly developed as it is very clean and the design looks modern. The best thing I like about this place is the pool; It is very kids friendly though the timings of the pool are really short unlike other hotels in Royal M its 8am till 6pm, check in time is 2pm the schedule of the pool is very tight like you only have 2-3 hours to enjoy it. The hotel room is very spacious but not sound proof because we can hear the TV of the room beside us.

I like the location, we had a rental car so it was quite easy to get to major attractions. The swimming pool was excellent. Hotel staff were a bit distant meaning not pro actively acknowledge your presence with a smile or a nod. We asked the concierge to break a US$5 bill into US$1 so we can tip the valet and house keeping but got refused. The reply was they don't provide such service and exchange it to AED is not worth it. Also there is no need to tip them. We were kind of unhappy with this as the valet and housekeeping make minimum wages and do except tips.

Amazing five star hotel in ABu Thabi City

I can really only say that the floor ceilings of five-star hotels are indeed a bit outrageous in some places. My brothers who are studying here happened to have a short vacation on a weekend (equivalent to the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day). To put it objectively, first of all, as a five-star resort hotel, it is okay to have an infinity pool suitable for taking pictures. The breakfast category was acceptable, and the attitude of the service staff was OK, but the facilities were really bad. All the lockers in the swimming pool locker room had no keys, so we could only take our mobile phones where we could see them by the swimming pool. Then I came back to take a shower in the evening, and the drain in the bathtub was broken. I called the front desk and sent someone to fix it. It seemed that the repair was done and the water drained out, but it couldn't be moved again after twisting it. After washing, I originally wanted to blow my hair, but I searched the whole room, eh? A five-star hotel doesn’t even have a hair dryer? I don’t know if all hotels in Abu Dhabi are like this or if this is the only one. And this hotel seems to be really not engaged in noise management. Songs were played loudly downstairs at midnight, and sports cars were buzzing. The rooms facing the city view were really noisy. Also, I stayed in 206 this time at the elevator entrance, and it was really overwhelming to hear the children shouting😅 Although the price on Ctrip is indeed cheaper when settled in RMB, I really don’t recommend this one. It really doesn’t have the experience you should expect from a five-star hotel.
