The hotel is located in the north of Viseu opposite a Continente. There is also fast food and a café there. The hotel also has a bar. My room was big enough, the bathroom had a bathtub. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not completely clean and the toilet flush was oddly ineffective. The breakfast buffet was adequate and the quality was quite high. The coffee machine used fresh beans and the coffee was excellent by Portuguese standards. The golden brown rolls were really fresh (not pre-baked). There was also bacon and eggs. Parking in front of the building was possible, but there are not many spaces. Photos: large cup and Dao railway line cycle path with train station.

Nada de negativo a apontar. Os preços são justos para a qualidade do serviço e dos quartos. Tudo limpo e impecável e, se não houver muita gente, os hóspedes têm direito a um lugar na garagem subterrânea do hotel. Gostámos muito do Pequeno-almoço (que está incluído), especialmente dos pequenos bolos "Viriato" que tinham disponíveis todas as manhãs! Óptima variedade para um hotel de três estrelas, também. Um acontecimento que me fez dar as 5 estrelas foi o seguinte: Numa das noites voltámos com um resto de pizza e na recepção foram muito atrenciosos e disseram-nos que nos guardariam a pizza no frigorífico da cozinha deles até precisarmos dela de novo. O quarto onde nós estivemos não tinha um pequeno frigorífico ou "mini-bar", e por isso este gesto foi fantástico. Para quem tem carro e quer passear por Viseu, o hotel está muito bem localizado e a 10 minutos dos locais mais interessantes da região. Havemos de voltar quando quisermos visitar novamente a zona. Recomendo!

O hotel tem bom custo x benefício, vaga de estacionamento, um café da manhã bom, um staff muito simpático e uma localização razoável: tem um Continente bem grande na frente e não fica muito longe do centro histórico de Viseu. Tive uma boa experiência.

De passagem , fizemos uma paragem no hotel Durão. Pedimos uma cama extra para a minha filha de 6 anos, era de péssima qualidade, tal como a nossa aliás. Achei o quarto e o hotel em si bastante fraco e antiquado para o preço que nos foi cobrado. O pequeno almoço tinha pouca oferta e baixa qualidade. Não gostei! O ponto positivo é que tinha garagem e/ou estacionamento à porta.

De passagem por Viseu, e apenas com intenção de dormir. optei por este hotel no qual já tinha ficado. Quarto grande, espaçoso, com vista desafogada. Pequeno almoço razoável. Estacionamento fácil Muito boa relação preço/qualidade (44€). Como senão o facto de ser um pouco longe do centro o que no meu caso, e dadas as circunstâncias de só pretender dormir, não foi um handicape.

Quero agradecer todo o empenho e profissionalismo demonstrado, especialmente pelas funcionárias Carla Costa e à D. Luísa. Profissionais simpáticas e muito prestáveis. Foi feito um pedido especial para uma aniversariante. Estas duas funcionárias, tudo fizeram para que a surpresa se realiza-se nos parâmetros idealizados. Fizeram tudo que estava ao seu alcance para que da chegada ao Hotel, o quarto já tivesse disponível para a aniversariante desfrutar do momento.
