Casa da Amieira has it all. Very friendly and helpful staff. They do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Every staff member was well informed about the fact that my daughter and I are both celiac. So every day at breakfast and at dinner (we had 2 times dinner in the restaurant which was delicious) we were offered glutenfree bread and muffins. They also knew which meals on the menu contain gluten. Our bungalow was very clean and nice furnished. A big terrace which we enjoyed. Good working airco units in every room. Very good beds. Nice shower. Housekeeping did a very good job with cleaning our bungalow every day and towels were changed upon request. All the areas in the hotel are of high hygienic standard and the hotel is very well maintained. We’ve liked the SPA, massage, outside pool, the little zoo,…We’ve enjoyed every minute of our one week layover at this charming hotel. 10/10 for Casa da Amieira!

We had a lovely experience at Casa da Amieira. We stayed in one of the bungalows which was very nicely equipped and finished, super private. The grounds are beautiful and majestically kept (loved the olive trees and their architectural trimming). They have sort of a “mini zoo”, well kept animals, great for children to come in touch with a variety of animals. Very nice indoor and outdoor pools, spa. We had dinner at the restaurant and we were very pleased with the service, food selections/quality/value. We had breakfast served at the bungalow and that was quite lovely as well. It was a very calming and relaxing place, highly recommended, particularly for couples wanting a few days “unplugged” from their hectic lives and if you have children, it is quite the place to enjoy some magical time with them

This is a quite extraordinary hotel whose features and merits have been justly praised by previous guests, and don’t bear repetition. If I could make one tiny change, I’d remove the speakers along the fence that inject pop music into an Eden already replete with its own harmonies.

Finding the hotel is a bit of an adventure, but worth the trouble. Best suggestion is to put the postal code into the gps. On Monday’s most of the restaurants in Portugal are closed. However, the hotel desk manager suggested a “very” local place that blew us away. She noted that she and the assistant manager go there, but that it was just for locals. Order the steak (bone in rib eye). It was amazing! Be prepared to use sign language or Portuguese; no English spoken. Wine is from a pitcher but passable. When we realized the next morning (on out early departure date) that my wife had left her sweater at the restaurant we asked the desk to call them when they opened to see if it was there. It was, they picked it up for us, packed it up, and sent it back to the US for $8.00. The hotel is a combination of health spa and retreat. Very modern, and clean. Lovely people.

This place is quite big with internal rooms and bungalows, pool areas, grounds and even a sort of small animal park. However, it retains a family-run and friendly feel, with very pleasant staff. The room was comfortable and the spa area pleasant to use. The restaurant served Good food and wine. We were very happy with our stay overall. One area for improvement, we felt that the area containing parrots was small and lacking in enrichment - it would be great if they could have a larger and more natural aviary as they are very intelligent and must be bored housed as they are.

O conceito e o ambiente do hotel são uma solução perfeita para uma escapadinha a dois ou até famílias com crianças pequenas. Um plus é um pequeno zoo que foi também uma agrdavel surpresa. Os bungalows eram muito limpos, confortáveis, bem climatizados e o pessoal muito simpático e atencioso. A massagem recomendo! Seguramente uma excelente experiência a repetir.

Lamentável, funcionários e a direção não conhecem sobre Experiência do Cliente. Tratamento da direção é com indiferença e achismos, e o que importa é somente a parte financeira, a qualquer custo. , mesmo que o hóspede tenha razão. Limpeza do quarto deixou a desejar, o atendimento recepção tratamento foi realizado com aspereza, brutalidade, estupidez, desconsideração, descortesia, grosseria, ignorância, falta de empatia, tivemos uma questão,onde recebemos a hospedagem como presente, e a recepção não teve a educação e empatia, para que pudessemos verificar os fatos ocorrido para resolver. Detalhe: resolvemos tudo em menos de 11 minutos. o roupão disponivel no quarto já estava molhado, antes mesmo de utilizar, um dos abajour não funcionava, o pequeno almoço, ainda com bastante antecedência ao horário do término, já faltava frutas, sumos e outros itens.

Um paraíso para quem gosta de sossego e do verde da natureza. Tanto o exterior como o interior primam pela excelência do bom gosto. Extremo cuidado no atendimento e simpatia dos colaboradores . Pequeno almoço buffet excelente, 2 piscinas ao ar livre e uma interior todas excelentes. Em suma, foi a segunda vez que ali ficámos e com certeza que voltaremos. Parabéns à Casa!
